After millions of Americans called on Congress to release the bombshell FISA abuse memo, Rep. Dave Joyce (R-OH) announced Saturday that the process has officially begun.
“Great news! Our efforts to #ReleaseTheMemo have been effective and the HPSIC plans to begin the process to release the FBI/FISA/Russia memo. This may take up to 19+ Congressional work days but Americans deserve to know the truth,” tweeted Joyce. On Friday, Republican lawmakers started publically lobbying Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes to release the memo.
“Earlier this morning, I examined the classified, four-page memo from @HouseIntelComm regarding the FBI, DOJ, and the so-called #RussianCollusion. To put it simply, “WOW.” I joined the call to #ReleaseTheMemo. Americans deserve truth and transparency,” tweeted Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA).
The letter was signed by Steve King, Matt Gaetz, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Scott Perry, Ted Yoho, Jody Hice, Louie Gohmert, Barry Loudermilk and Brian Babin, reports Jim Hoft of The Gateway Pundit.

Heres what should happen! Imagine the movie the Godfather. While trump takes the stage at the SOTU the Arrests and raids of Democraps starts. Country wide. Anyone at the SOTU that is to be charged should be arrested upon exit. This memo should then be posted that evening in place of the after SOTU commentary. We really don’t care what the Dems have to say. One would hope the element of suprise will render them spechless. Trump becomes “The Godfather”. MAGA happens.
Yes, I think some are paying way too much attention to the "it may take up to 19 days" part of the quote.
The memo was specifically written to be released. Nunes won't be redacting the memo.

I would to have PDJT declassify the memo on the fly and read it to the American people at the SOTU speech. Something like this would be right up Trump’s alley. Think of the contemporaneous commentary by Trump as he reads it in real time!
I hope that people in the media are also named as accomplices. This is finally getting to be fun.
Many travel back to their districts almost every weekend, which is why Congress is in session most weeks from Tues through Thurs because they use Fri and Mon as travel days. It is a big country and not all reps and senators can commute easily to and from DC.
I'm not necessarily defending them, per se, but I hope you get a different perspective of how they work. It is a job I would not want.

A 15-year-old British teenager accessed top secret US military reports by impersonating a CIA director.
Acting from his Leicestershire home, Kane Gamble posed as CIA Chief John Brennan, gaining access to passwords, personal information, contact lists, security details, and sensitive documents regarding US operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Gamble’s security attacks occurred between June 2015 and February 2016. In them, he targeted Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, FBI Director Mark Giuliano, former US President Barack Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and others. In addition to the security hacks, Gamble also harassed his victims and their families.
Impersonating Clapper, Gamble directed Clapper’s calls to be diverted to the “Free Palestine” organization, and used Clapper’s email to contact additional officials. He claimed to have the names of 1,000 FBI staffers.
Some of the information was later used to order an armed SWAT team to deploy to the home of Obama’s science and technology adviser John Holdren.
In the case of Johnson, Gamble listened to his voicemails, sent texts from his phone, and harassed his wife. He also persuaded call handlers at an internet giant that he was Brennan, in an attempt to gain access to the then-CIA director’s computers. Gamble succeeded in accessing Brennan’s AOL account, emails, contacts, and iCloud storage account, and took control of Brennan’s wife’s iPad.
Gamble also succeeded in accessing the private calls and emails of White House Deputy National Security Adviser Avril Haines and FBI Special Agent Amy Hess, and downloading videos to Hess’ computer.
“This has to be the biggest hack, I have access to all the details the Feds use for background checks,” court documents showed him as boasting at the time.

The White House does not have the memo. It is not in his possession and besides, I like the fact they are going through the motions. Trump is detached from the process that gets him off the hook.
