The Islamization of Oslo
City Journal ^ | 01/24/2018 | Bruce Bawer

Posted on 01/25/2018 9:16:20 PM PST by SpeedyInTexas

In August 2017, Hege Storhaug of HRS took note of a promotional poster for the new library in Stovner. It depicted three dark-skinned girls, two wearing hijabs, happily reading books together. “Here,” commented Storhaug, “is the future.” Thorbjørn Berntsen saw it coming 16 years ago. Others did, too, but most stayed silent. Even now, as Groruddalen plunges toward anarchy and full Islamization, few dare to speak up. Meantime, beyond the hills and mountains that surround Groruddalen, the shadow that has fallen upon the valley is slowly darkening the rest of Norway.

"but most stayed silent"

That was their biggest mistake as "common" people.

Even without Muslims, Norway is too atheist, too socialist.

We see it before our eyes and this awaits us in the future. we have a short reprieve with Trump. The globalists will continue to muddy our waters, our politicians will continue (AKA “schumer” and alike)to bastardize immigration policies to fill their pockets, represent and protect these invaders who will flood and overwhelm. stay vigilant my friend we cannot afford to fall asleep again

The gal in charge of Norway’s Immigration is a Libertarian, but very against open borders. I read an interview - she said Norway allowed only 2,000 immigrants in 2017! (as of late November). And they are searching out the criminals and sending them back home.

The interviewer said something like “Aren’t you worried that you will seem to be a bit harsh?”

“I don’t give a damn. And soon enough the rest of Norway will see that we are right. We aren’t going to become like Sweden.”

Granted - she might be a bit late, but heading in the right direction.

It’s not clear - but it might just be they let in 2,000 people seeking asylum in 2017. However, they let in 30,000 in 2015!

I was in Oslo back in July. To be sure, most of the time I was in the city center, but this Groruddalen looks to be out toward the airport. I took trains to and from the airport; and I also took trains to and from Norway's second city, Bergen. I never saw a mosque, and I don't recall seeing more than a few obvious Muslims who weren't tourists.

I'm pretty attentive to such things. I don't recall many or any.

Those are usually ground zero to most European cities you travel to.

Back in the day (1988) when I was still working in Switzerland I flew into Oslo at the beginning of June and drove a British client out to Rjukan to one of customers to see a turnkey production and assembly line for producing the plastic cases for audio cassettes.

Rjukan is in the Telemark region (The Heroes of Telemark), famous for the hydro-electric power plant that Hitler was using to produce heavy water for his atomic bomb development. We were able to visit the power plant which had been turned into a museum. Pretty cool.
