There is plenty of room to clarify the situation without such gratuitous offense as you propose.
I have said myself to American Indians: Let’s take the sinful bull by the horns. First, colonists didn’t arrive at an utterly peaceful shangri-la. American Indians often fought each other cruelly. Second, yes colonists sinned. Even the children of Pilgrims forgot their parents’ Christian convictions which had augured peace. That’s what Christianity preaches is always possible. Every generation leans on God or the devil by its choice in the face of the leading of God. Third, it is far better that America, a sitting duck for conquest, was conquered at least by nominal Christians. If Islamists had done it, American Indians would be even rarer or gone, and wouldn’t even be able to complain in public.
Let us show credibly by our conduct that the Lord is a valid answer to all complaints. Then we can preach that too with credibility and integrity.

The ethnicity of those who trade in these things does not matter. To suppose your group has suffered, that it could suffer as if it were a person and not a mere entity (an abstraction of persons), and that suffering is therefore transmitted to you because of association is simply unwise, self destructive.
