Too much much secrecy. Declassify and release every damn document, email, text or note ever written by an FBI or DOJ employee about the Trump-Russia investigation, the Clinton email investigation, or the Uranium One investigation.

I don’t care if it compromises ‘sources’ or ‘methods’. Their sources are some dude in the UK who was paid by the DNC to make stuff up. Their methods are lie to the court to obtain search warrants.

I’m sick of waiting for my ‘betters’ look at tiny pieces of information to tell me what to think.

At this point only complete disclosure will enable me to ever trust my government again.

Methods apparently embrace compiling utter bullshit. A pox on those methods.

Early in the morning, on their first full day at the FBI Academy, 50 new-agent trainees, dressed in conservative suits and more than a little anxious about their new careers, stand as instructed by the assistant director of the FBI and raise their right hands. In unison, the trainees repeat the following words as they are sworn in as employees of the federal government:

I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

At the end of their academy training, and as part of the official graduation ceremony, these same new-agent trainees once again will stand, raise their right hands, and repeat the same oath. This time, however, the oath will be administered by the director of the FBI, and the trainees will be sworn in as special agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.1 Similar types of ceremonies are conducted in every state, by every law enforcement agency, for every officer across the country. And, each officer promises to do one fundamentally important thing—support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

and who forget the oath?

Correct me if needed, but aren’t all these top bad players in the FIB lawyers who never went to the academy?

It appears to me that this statement should be construed that the FBIAA disapproves the actions of the FBI leadership at the top.

that’s fine and well. Might want to start with removing that PowerPoint training presentation recently found that encourages agents to bend the law and all.

Comey and crew don’t look like rank and file union members to me.

Bowdich, the FBI’s #3 and Acting #2, is a former Special Agent. McCabe was a Special Agent, as were most Deputy Directors. Same with the #3s (Associate Deputy Directors), almost all started as Special Agents.

I live just outside the beltway.

Almost everybody I know who works for the Fed is a democrat. Good people, just propagandized.

Some shift on retirement and come out of the closet.

I don’t believe in government unions. At least not ones that have power to make collective bargaining agreements over things like pay. Government employees work for we the people.

The agents who took the oath should have taken care of the top ones.

I would expect their union to freak out. I think most people understand that FBI agents, on the whole, are dedicated men and women. But it is clear that people near the top are in DC and are all tangled up in the politics of the day.

I would love to hear what the rank and file of the higher level staff. My guess is it would not be flattering. But it would probably never be flattering.

If you want to keep the FBI clean, get it out of D.C. Put it in the middle of the country, away from the lure of power.

because of their dedication to our country and the Constitution

Oh BS. If you believe in the Constitution and rule of law you don't fit people up, you don't put allegiance to one politcal party over country and constitution and you don't murder children in cold blood (Waco, lest you good folks forget the depths of your institutional sin and corruption). And, you don't assist your superiors in doing this either.

This makes us yearn for the days of Richard Carlson in I Led Three Lives. Being such good agents, why have none stepped forward to expose those at the top? Fear, indifference, cash and carry?
