If I were Trump, just to cheese the Demondogs off, I’d not fire him, I’d create a new position and reassign him. No pay cut, no black mark on his record but he’d be the station chief for the FBI office in Mentone Texas or Point Barrow Alaska. Then I’d reassign Maddog Mattis to Rosenstien’s current post
Don’t fire him ‘Strozk’ him. Reassign him to “other duties as assigned”, guarantee this is in his federal job description. Sessions could promote him to the new special projects office, in charge of testing all food served in the DOJ until further notice.
I don’t see why Sessions shouldn’t be indicted, too.

Rosenstein has a clear conflict of interest, since he is now overseeing a special counsel investigation while he himself is a person of interest as either a witness or a target.
What would Dems do if Trump fired Rosenstein- launch a special prosecutor?
He ought to name Gowdy as deputy assistant AG, and then fire Boente and Rosenstein.
