The authors of the report note that women who are forced into the business are usually women who "recently arrived from China or South Korea, carry debts or are otherwise under extreme financial pressure, speak little or no English, have no more than a high school education, are in their mid 30s to late 50s, [and] are mothers."
And are illegal aliens. Hey Jerry Brown how's that sanctuary state policy working?

Finally, a story with a happy ending.

The authors of the report must have gotten rubbed the wrong way.

Are there massage parlors which DON’T give “happy endings”?

Over the years, I have tried to explain that illegal immigration leads to the abuse of women. Folks haven’t seemed to get that point. It leads to abuse of each of the people who come across and are afraid to go to authorities when they are taken advantage of.
I don’t want them here, but it makes my blood boil when folks here abuse them.
Send them back. DO NOT abuse them.
If I could help those women, I would.

Lots.
After I had meningitis in nineteen eighty-one I learned to look for places that had been in the same location with the same name and management for more than fifteen years. Generally even a place bribing the city government would be raided and shut down within that sort of a timeframe.

Absolutely. Think of the teen girls in Mexico who are taken by these recruiters, their parents are told they will work in restaurants, they will live with a family, they will be safe and send money home every week. Etc. Then the girls are locked in cages in LA and elsewhere and brought around to where illegals congregate, as hookers, often underaged. One escaped and they did a show on tv with her. Horrific.
And the Asian girls, brought over for the same thing, also trapped.

A reminder to all who are discussing this issue - don’t assume that the employees of these institutions are all illegals. I’ll bet many if not most of them are truly legal immigrants.

3,300 massage parlors in California that are posing fronts for sex trafficking. Do they know this because of an undercover investigation?
To: Yaelle
You’ve got to be a real low-life to hit a clientele made up of women like this. Of course how would you know? This aspect of life is something I’ve always taken a pass on. The men who run it, should get speedy trials, then executed.

The reality is that all sanctuary cities are full of brothels, gangs, and drugs.California is just seething with the worst kind of sex trafficking, gang murders, and drugs. Sanctuary means safety for criminals, law abiding people don’t need it.
