Maybe if back in China and Korea the women are warned that the sex trade is no longer a pathway to legal residency in the USA the supply of young women may dry up.
That is about as stupid a statement as has been made anywhere on this forum today. And today is a day in which Nancy Pelosi has been quoted frequently.
While there are a small number of experienced Chinese prostitutes who come to the U.S. by intent, they mostly come temporarily for the money rather than for citizenship and they usually go to Hawaii, Guam, or Saipan. The California and Texas Massage Brothels are staffed with gullible young women promised hotel and restaurant jobs.
A lot of them are run by women.

Is it stupid to want to dry up the attraction of promised employment in the USA? Sorry but I live in California and I am outraged that there are 3,000 sex slaves currently residing in my state. Do you have any suggestions in halting the exploitation of these women? Didn’t think so. My suggestion is to shut down these massage parlors, arrest the owners, free the exploited women and send them home with the message that this entry into the USA no longer exists.

And then to imagine that these naive young women who are misled by underworld scam artists with ties to powerful communist party members are aware that they are being inducted into is, in addition to stupidity morally repugnant as well.
There is a difference between what is appropriate when dealing with a willing participant and what is appropriate in dealing with someone who was swindled. A distinction which seems to be beyond what you are capable of comprehending.
I was stationed at Osan from '85 - '86 and across from the satellite gym was a massage parlor with the nickname "Steam and Cream" - I heard it finally got shut down but it was a base-sanctioned business...
