Very good observation, BigtigerMike. “Why has this slime not been fired?” is the question we ask. An old Sherlock Holmes conclusion comes to mind here, “The dog that didn’t bark”. With the domino’s falling at the FIB, what we think “should” have happened, hasn’t in some cases. As with Holmes conclusion, we are now gaining the insight to ‘why’, thanks to the Sundance team. Those that are remaining, I believe are still there because there is still some usefulness to keeping them close, protected and unable to talk to others outside the walls. When they are cut loose, their usefulness has been deemed expended. Rolling out these High Crimes, one after another, from department to department as the electioneering begins this year is going to be highly entertaining. MAGA!
