And the NBC producers who decide every day to fail to tell the public about the Clinton - DNC - FBI crimes in the 2016 election.... Cover that story? Of course not. They are too busy telling the world about Kanye West or Caitlin Jenner's latest utterances.
Trayvon wasn’t Korean, you’re not fooling me.
I don’t get it, where did he say that the Japanese occupation of Korea was a good thing?
All he said is that Korea looked to what Japan did after WWII as an example to grow their economy.
LOL! No, they wouldn't. I can't believe he would say that. There is still hostility to Japan among some in Korea.
Be very careful in any remarks about any ______. We are no longer allowed to use the words ______, ______, or _______. or raise any issue that might be considered ________.
If you do the _____ __________ will take down your post.
I think the animosity between Japanese and Koreans is over-stated by the media.
Koreans are a tetchy bunch.
Same with that 'dust-up' in Manchuria.
Many colonial enterprises were beneficial in some ways for teh onetime colonies.
IIRC the NBC producer (who edited George Zimmerman’s call) was fired.
“It is nice day. The people are happy.”
Back to you Brent
Maybe China pushed the petition behind the scenes.
The Japanese were there to loot raw materials. They did nothing for Korean industry.
I knew someone who was in Korea immediately after WWII.
His comment about Korean auto imports in the 80s was “When I was there they couldn’t even make a watch.”
I suspect China benefits from Korea and Japan being antagonistic towards each other.
That's not what the announcer was referring to, he was referring to South Korea, after the war. His mistake, I suppose was not making that point clearer.
That was what I got too - it was the POST Imperial Japan that set the example, and I thought by then we were all clear that Japanese people are not inherently bad, the had been ruled by a thuggish cabal who had brainwashed their followers into becoming even bigger thugs.
And many Japanese are angered that Koreans still own some of the best bars in Tokyo, forced on them during the Post-WWII occupation.
Remember, to a Japanese, any other nationality is totally inferior to Japanese. As a Japanese client told me, after he was a bit surprised that we do not have the same attitude, “To many Japanese, a Japanese mass murderer is a better person than a Korean Nobel Prize-winning physician, or any Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, American too.”
But they will have Johnny Weir as a commentator, who was charged with domestic violence for hitting his “Husband” gee NBC, the network that has been trashing Rob Porter, are they fine with hiring people accused of battery
Served 18 months there, the Koreans do not like the Japanese. From 1910-1945 they raped and pillaged Korea.
There are jerks in every country. But I still contend that the vast majority of Koreans and Japanese get along just fine.
