Baby is an enormous, orange female dragon. Jack is small and skinny; he was rescued from the summer camp where my daughter worked. Charlie Russell is a cannibalism survivor; he was rescued from a family on our swim team last year. Alice Cooper is a leopard gecko. She sleeps under a log all day and stalks crickets at night.

We have a couple dozen gecko that hang out on our porches to scarf the bug buffet. While we don't bother to name them, I do make sure to let them know that they are all welcome to hang out any time they like.
Now I'm going to have to start checking them for cameras.
