'France will strike' if proven chemical bombs used in Syria: Macron

In recent weeks, rescue workers, aid groups and the United States have accused Syria of repeatedly using chlorine gas, which it possesses legally for uses such as water purification, as a chemical weapon against civilians in Ghouta and Idlib.

France, a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council, has struggled to wield influence on Syria. Critics who accuse Macron of inaction say he has not given a clear definition of whether use of chlorine would for him constitute a chemical attack.

On Tuesday, the vice-president of the Syria Civil Defence, or “White Helmets”, volunteer force said France should stop talking and take real action.

France and the United Nations have repeatedly called in past months for a ceasefire and the opening of aid corridors to alleviate Syria’s humanitarian crisis. Russia, Assad’s most powerful ally, said last week a ceasefire was not realistic.

Yep. And then watch the “Christians” in the peanut gallery cheer for full genocide in the region, all for the benefit of miscellaneous anti-Christians.

Thanks, the “White Helmets” get tons of cash from the UK gov’t. I think their fake ass documentary, Last Man in Aleppo got an Academy Award.

I especially enjoyed the video clip of a white helmet swimming underwater to rescue a child. The guy is wearing his white helmet..

Or at Khan Sheikhoun, post fake Sarin..While some are wearing protective gear, coughing, others are trotting around smoking cigarettes.

I watched. And the callousness of the pistol execution scene would make Goebbels proud. And they have saved 80,000 people. CNN/MSNBC said so. Where do all those donations go?

Those countries that support The White Helmets want to export the concept to other countries.

Hopefully (for him) his military can do better against the Russian S-400 missiles than Israel did.

According to Fares Shehabi,
... the White Helmets Qaeda gang has moved more than 20 chlorine tanks into Idlib in order to fabricate a new chemical show to blame the Syrian army..

There are two different Chinese Special Forces Groups in Syria. Each has different specialties.

Here is an interesting link for the different Special Forces from different Countries who compete against each other every year in a sort of Special Forces Olympics. Also has lists of the Top Three Teams from previous years.

The first Sarin gas attack was actually from Libya-not Assad. Shipped there during HRCs reign and possibly the reason that Chris Stevens had to die. Testing was done at Porton Down Lab in England that showed it was from Libya.

You know NATO's in trouble when the only member taking a public stand is France.

The French participate in the highly effective *cough cough* peacekeeping / observer force in southern Lebanon.
...in 1978, Israel invaded southern Lebanon, where Palestinians [who had overthrown the gov't of Lebanon and were occupying Lebanese territory] had been launching attacks on Israel. In response to the fighting, the UN initiated a peacekeeping operation -- the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The operation’s 6,000 peacekeepers were tasked with helping to restore peace, confirming the withdrawal of the Israeli army, and assisting the Lebanese government to reassert its control in the area. After fighting broke out again in 2006, the Security Council increased the size of UNIFIL to over 13,000 peacekeepers, but its objectives remained for the most part the same. The operation currently has about 10,500 peacekeepers from 41 different countries who, nearly 40 years after the creation of UNIFIL, are still trying to accomplish essentially the same goals. The Israeli forces are on their side of the border, and there has not been major conflict in 11 years, but that does not mean war will not return. Southern Lebanon is controlled by Hezbollah, another group that threatens Israel, not the Lebanese government. That means the current peace is largely an illusion, as is the ability of the peacekeepers to maintain it. TO be fair, NATO countries are already bearing the burden of refugees, etc...I don’t question their ultimate military loyalty to U.S. — in this case anyway, I think Macron is just being very French and wanting to feel important. :)

“Don’t forget about France! We’re a power too!”

France has a history with Lebanon (the French UNIFIL contribution is under 700 troops right now) and of course, prior to the Franco-Prussian War, was the major military power in continental Europe. NATO countries are in no shape to fight a war, and know it (not least because our POTUS called them out on it), and didn't have to take on any burden of refugees -- that was against the public interest. The politicians responsible should be hanged.
