A trend we've been following is showing up in Democrats' internal surveys, McClatchy reports, as a top Democratic pollster is warning that based on the emerging data, the party's expected 2018 midterm layup victories may not materialize as easily as assumed -- if at all. These results were shared with the media as an obvious wake-up call to guard against complacency and to urge Democrats to focus attacks against Trump's policies. Some specifics:
A leading Democratic group Priorities USA is warning party leaders they could squander a strong political climate in 2018 if they don't start to emphasize pocketbook issues over loose and unfocused critiques of Donald Trump. According to internal polling by the super PAC, President Trump's approval rating climbed to 44 percent in the first week of February, compared to 53 percent who disapprove. That mirrors Trump's improving position in public polls. In November, the same survey found his approval rating at 40 percent, with 54 percent disapproving.

When will any Dem senators in Trump won states be rated as Toss Up or Tilt GOP? September?
IMO, polling data is as useful as weather forecasts, stock market predictions and climate change preachings.
Repub’s will find a way to screw it up. Just wait!
They never had the advantage. Purely spin.
But GOP gained in 2010 and 2014. And in past off year elections party w/o Presidency loses somewhat.
The glowing optimism of the Democrat contenders for seats now held by Republicans may have been a little premature. Regardless of what history says, that the party in the White House traditionally loses seats in the mid-term elections, there is no definitive support for this assertion.
In fact, this mid-term election may prove that postulate to be simply a self-serving appeal to try to “throw the rascals out”. I do see a number of challenges of sitting Republicans in the primaries, if they have not been fully supportive of the objectives carved out by President Trump, or are even known as “anti-Trumpers”. Those who have embraced the Team Trump Train are, for the most part, in pretty safe territory, as long as they do not unnecessarily pollute their own soup by urinating in it.
JMO. The ‘RATS have been cleaning up with the goofy “special elections”. More than likely, they have been flooding the polls in these elections with “democrats” from all over the country. So, if that is what is happening, will the ‘RATS be able to flood the polls when every seat in the House is up for grabs in November? I doubt it unless they can get the DACA “valedictorians” the right to vote which some activist RAT judge will give them if they are given DACA “valedictorian” amnesty.
Prepare for the midterms like we’re 10 points down in the 4th quarter. Bring 10 of your closest DJT supporters to the polls with you.
There’s going to be a Red Dawn to extinguish the Blue Wave....
The so called “toss up” list is about 10% accurate and 90% bull shiite. Please just do a little research. Of the 35 open Republican seats just a single one looks like it will go Democrat; there is one just one actual toss up and 34 that Democrats have no chance of winning now and things will only get orze for the evil donkey
Blue wave my foot!
“But GOP gained in 2010 and 2014. And in past off year elections party w/o Presidency loses somewhat.”
Were not in Kansas anymore. Economy is picking up and people are optimistic. Even if you are a Lib, if you work in the private sector you are happier- the idea of getting a better paying job or a raise bigger than 2% is nice.
And sometimes I think I’m the only one that remembers that the GOP gained in 2002, based on what the smart people on my tv say.
Willard Mitt Romney
George Soros has had his eye on local races and has poured $$$ into these races to ensure a Democrat win! He also controls the voting machines.
Who the hell woukd vote for these morons ?
Anti American. Brain dead. Marxists
“Priorities USSA”
The media also uses a lot of these 'blue wave' stories as a kind of 'push poll' to try to encourage democrats and discourage republicans.
