Kirbyville Police have arrested an 18-year-old Kirbyville High School student after students reported he had made threatening statements and expressed a desire to kill people on Thursday.
Michael Wilson was released on a $5,000 bond after he was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats.
During a discussion about the Florida school shooting the day before among Kirbyville students during a class at the school on Friday, 15, 2018, Wilson became angry and began to defend the actions of the shooter according to a probable cause affidavit.
Police were called to investigate after several students reported to the principal that they were disturbed and and scared after Wilson had said he "wanted to kill everybody" during the discussion according to the affidavit.
Wilson's classmates reported that during the discussion he said that in a shooing event such as the one in Florida that he would not have killed himself and mentioned that he "hated everyone" and "wanted to kill everyone" according to the affidavit.
Wilson's father told the principal that his son had been suspended before in Oklahoma in the third grade during a similar incident.
And released?
You may be seeing that student’s name in the future.
I feel sorry for the parents who really are trying to get some help for their child. It’s my understanding that getting in the social services system is not easy, nor is it ever quick. That has to change.
“Wilson’s father told the principal that his son had been suspended before in Oklahoma in the third grade during a similar incident.”
That’s like 8 years old. Shocking.
probably not a good time to go spouting off on social media...
The FBI has high hopes for this kid.

We need to bring back the nuthouses in which to store such psychos.
” terroristic threatening” sounds like a good charge to start laying on these punks
It makes you wonder what his parents have been doing to help him in the last 10 years. ?
If they have done all they reasonably can maybe it’s time to commit him.
...terroristic threatening sounds like a good charge to start laying on these punks...
Should be a permanent factor in the acquisition of a firearm if there is concrete proof.
Wow, are we living in one screwed up world.
Hard to tell without meeting the boy. Could be some hysteria involved.
