LOTS of freepers have told me they don’t want me in a battle with them cause i have little experience with guns.

Official training courses. Maybe 18 times to a range.

Do these same freepers think teachers with a few trips to the range and a gun course are gonna make a difference in an active firefight?

Just wondering.

BTW, witnessed obama’s sons i a shoot out in brownsville in brooklyn a few months ago.

Happened RIGHT behind my car. I didn’t even drive off, they were shooting so badly :)

Basically barely off the ground and shooting behind themselves without looking.

Oh, my rear tires may have died in the shootout and I would have had a wake and funeral, but NOTHING higher than two feet was gonna get hit :)

Was like a free, bad, action movie.

The fact that they are allowed to do it will be a deterrent to a firefight ever happening. That is the critical point.

You make a good point about arming teachers. The areas of our country where this would work are probably already pretty safe. Since ost public educators are libtards there will likely be few that step up to the plate and become armed defenders. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Teachers are a “constant”, predictable part of the environment. Now recruiting grandparents is probably a much better idea. Grandparent volunteers would be much less predictable. There would likely be enough that the faces, times, and dates would be all over the map. And it would cost much less. IMHO this is a solution which would actually be effective. Unfortunately it will be tried only in places that are already pretty safe because they have already allowed teachers to carry (Oklahoma or Texas for instance).

That is not really the point. Just knowing there are armed people in the school will minimize school shootings.

The school shooter in Los Angeles over a decade ago was seen on security cameras passing up schools which had armed guards, until he found one that was "gun free".

They might be mentally ill but they are not suicidal or stupid. Cruz wanted to kill and to live afterward so he could be a media event.

The public doesn’t need to know if, or how many school employees are armed. We’ll work on the rest.

I must ask. What the hell were you doing in Brownsville?

You'd be surprised how often a "granny" who has never used a gun picks one up and blows a perp away with surprising accuracy.

So yes......

Fact: Of the 2,500,000 times (per year) citizens use guns to defend themselves, 92% merely brandish their gun or fire a warning shot to scare off their attackers.

Source: http://www.gunfacts.info/pdfs/gun-facts/7.1/Gun-Facts-7.1-screen.pdf

I would contend that there would be no "active firefight" at least 90% of the time that a teacher uses a gun to stop a shooter.

90% is a lot.

The guns on campus fight was pretty tough to get in Texas but it seems that we have had a pretty good experience with it. The creeps go elsewhere or decide to not do it.
The presence of guns in teachers hands and in ccw’s hands on campus seems to be a real deterrent.

I think arming teachers is a joke. I bet 70% of them are anti 2nd amendment anyway, and would be loath to even use guns.
