I just read the WP article and didn’t think it was “Satanic” at all. It talks fairly about the real-world problems the family has faced together as Graham’s evangelistic ministry took priority in their lives - much like, I imagine, the first century Apostles did in spreading the gospel to all the world. I don’t like the title, of course, but I do not think it was a malicious article.
Fine next month. Or last month. But releasing it within hours of his death is beneath contempt.
It’s world-grade cattiness, but its very presence proves the point. The better you exercise Christianity, the more the world will execrate you.
As for Franklin, he’s not smoldering over the problems.
Got to remember this is for the world’s consumption. It is to say Humph! If Billy was such a holy man then why this? This? This?
Yup. The devil we say. And it’s a tribute to Billy that the devil hated him so!!
I thought it was a fair article...

>> I dont like the title
It’s a divisive title.
Crap like this is why Donald Trump won.
Anyone in ministry or has been close to a pastor like Graham will appreciate this article. I came away with a deeper respect for all of them.
I think the timing of it was what's considered objectionable.
