Ohio teachers are flocking to a gun training class being offered by an Ohio Sheriff’s department.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones told Fox & Friends that when they decided to offer the firearm training class to teachers they expected maybe 20 educators to sign up — instead there were hundreds.

“We put it online, we thought we’d get 20 school teachers maybe. Within 20 minutes we had 40. Within an hour we had 100. Within four hours we had 200. By the next morning, at 300, we cut it off,” Jones said.

The class was open to teachers as well as secretaries and maintenance workers that work in schools.

Ohio teachers are flocking to a gun training class

So will the state and local governments allow them to make use of the training? i.e carry while on the job?

And as I mentioned to my wife (a retired educator) just think. Probably 90% of those who want the training are die hard liberals. And this is an indication they do not think guns are that evil. She replied Yes but they now know their lives are in danger and the PTB are not inclined to protect them. How ironic.

I’ll bet the NEA’s reaction to this is interesting.

Who’ll clean up the mess from all the exploding heads?

How can this possibly happen? Lunatic liberals and the lunatic NEA have continually told us reachers want No Part of This.
Could self preservation/self defense be rearing it’s ugly”head” here?

The NEA and the American Federation Of Teachers are the reason why our public school students place 27th behind Latvia in scholastic education.

Their position on Gun Safety for students and Gun Training for teachers should come as no surprise.

Sen. Blumenthal has vowed to resist Trump’s efforts to allow teachers to arm themselves.

Do you believe for a second there won’t be guns secured in those classrooms within weeks of being permitted. You can store a firearm in pieces, locked in a drawer that no kid is going to put together. But someone that’s practiced can put it together in less than a minute.

Is it worth their job? I think so.

Well, this is good. Maybe if the lib teachers take firearms training classes, understand what guns are all about, they might actually become PRO-gun. Let’s not get in the way.

I doubt that. It’s to protect the kids not shoot them.

I was thinking more a revolver on your hip and the 6 round cylinder in your pocket. About 3 seconds, plus if a student grabbed it, it’s unless without the cylinder.

Do you even modern revolver bro? They haven't worked that way since the 1870's.
