Defiant Illegal Tells Tucker: “I’m an American”
FinkelBlog ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Right. And I’m the flippin’ King of Siam.

Cesar Vargas, an illegal immigrant, told Tucker Carlson tonight:

“I’m an American. Citizenship does not make me an American.”

Tucker pointed out that citizenship is precisely what makes someone an American. Carlson also objected to Vargas repeatedly referring to what “we” as Americans have done.

Uppity mexican trying to put a gringo in his place.

Got that?

Just go ahead and keep it up mexico. Pray to god that we don’t get into a mexican-american war part II.

The carnage will make cortez and the spaniards look like rank amateurs when it comes to brutality.

And they have nobody to blame but themselves.

Without borders, there is no country, and few countries protect their sovereignty as strongly as Mexico!

I dare anyone to go to Mexico (without a visa,) and get a job. And even if once decides to become a citizen of Mexico, IIRC, “naturalized citizens” are not allowed to vote in national elections, nor to own property. I know that non-citizens cannot own property.

Doubt he will pass the CA bar.
He doesn't have to. He passed a different one.

Undocumented Immigrant Cesar Vargas (’11) Admitted to NY Bar

Cesar Vargas (’11) who was brought to the United States as a child from Mexico and is still undocumented, was admitted to practice law in New York, by the decision of New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division.
Vargas passed the New York State Bar exam on his first try and was rated as a “stellar candidate” by the New York State Supreme Court Committee. Since graduation, he has been engaged in activism for immigration reform on a national scale, leading the Dream Action Coalition. The New York Times and the New York Daily News have both written about Vargas’ plight and his dedicated advocacy for immigrants.

And I haven't even looked into how he paid for college.

César Vargas: American Dreamer Rebel Latinos
So I went to open houses and gathered information. After all that, I was able to graduate college in three and a half years with a bachelor’s degree, while working full-time. Then I took two years working full-time, saving $10,000, so I can pay for law school. Once in, I talked to the dean and explained my situation. I came out of the shadow and spoke up. She was able to find me a full scholarship so I can finish my education. It was in law school, in 2010, when I publicly came out in front of the U.S. Senate.

An illegal alien, not scared of being deported at that time, in front of the U. S Senate. /Clueless

Snip... Right after I graduated from law school I was still undocumented, so I didn’t have a work authorization.

He didn't have a work authorization when he was working full-time for years either, but he doesn't mention that.

IRS...hello?!

Vargas wasn’t saying he was merely a North American. He claimed to be a US American because of his “values.”

He claims to be a "lawyer". "Lawyers" don't have "values".

Will his ill begotten law degree do him any good in Mexico?

Does he even speak "Mexican"?

Of which country is this man a citizen.

Born in Mexico, by his own admission, here illegally...
Mexico would be the country wherein his citizenship lies.

Mexicans speak Spanish so, "no", he doesn't speak Mexican.

A telling statement all by itself.

I have no idea, though it seems like it would. Just study Mexican law and pass their equivalent to the bar exam.
Either way I don't care. He needs to be thrown out of this nation for habitually breaking numerous laws for years.

All of the illegal aliens who claim to be immune from our laws because of the illegal DACA program speak the language of the parents who raised them.

The Ministry of Propaganda actually has people believing they do not.

Well, I'm not so sure the Spaniards think it's Spanish.

A telling statement all by itself.

There's a reason I put "Mexican" in parentheses.
