Blue wave may be building in Texas
The Hill ^ | February 27, 2018 | Reid Wilson

More Democratic voters than Republicans have cast ballots ahead of next month’s primary elections in Texas, in what some party officials interpret as a new sign that a blue wave is building ahead of the midterm elections.

The Texas Secretary of State’s office said 168,000 voters had cast ballots in the Democratic primary in person or by mail in the state’s ten largest counties through the end of Sunday. By contrast, 138,000 voters had cast ballots in the Republican primary.

It is the first time in a decade that Texas Democrats have turned in more ballots than Republicans at this point in the early voting window. And it’s the first time in 12 years that Democrats outpaced Republicans in a midterm election year.

Wanna bet it's the illegals the Dems have worked onto the vote lists and the libs who have moved east from Mexifornia and just can't wait to turn Texas into the place they just fled? Nobody said these people were smart.

WARNING: DO NOT WEAR THIS IN PUBLIC AREAS WHERE DEMOCRATS AND ANTIFA (BUT I REPEAT MYSELF!) ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT.  EVEN SO, A HIGH CAPACITY SIDEARM IS RECOMMENDED.

I read somewhere that democrats creamed republicans in number of Texas primary voters in 2008 and went on to lose every statewide election in the general.

These BS articles are getting tiresome. It is only a primary. I am voting tomorrow, and half the GOP races involve people running unopposed.

I sure hope people are paying attention ( there’s an all- out assault from the commie- Nazi axis — not just to impeach DJT but to take control of Congress ASAP now - not waiting

And this ignores the Democrats who will cross over to tilt the GOP primary to the Left.

How many of these Texas voters are illegal aliens? Giving the illegals the right to vote for the local elections has already started in Chicago and Maryland. Noncitizens are being registered for state and national election through devious methods and the effort to turn Texas blue must be a major objective.

Party officials endorsing a party win are like Santa’s elves endorsng Christmas. Neither group is objective in any way.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. This Texas “Blue wave” has been forecast every cycle. It’s a primary and most of incumbent R’s are running unopposed. The Dems are jsut trying to figure out which sacrificial lambs they want to put on the ballot.

Early voting in the primary.

Officials with the Texas Democratic Party said the early voter turnout so far is symptomatic of the high number of Democrats candidates — 323 in congressional and state legislative races.

The key question is how many really contested primaries are
on the GOP
ballots from Statewide to local?

Total early voting totals today in the largest 15 counties are
441,622 or 4.46% of the registered voters.

In 2014 the blonde abortion rights babe running for gov. against Abott was going to turn Texas blue, too.

How’d that work out?

Every two to four years a Democrat media moron comes out with a story about Texas turning blue in the upcoming election. Then it turns out 60-40 or nearly so for the Republican.

The NY Times recently did a long piece on the very Kennedy-esque Beto O Rourke stumping his way through very rural GOP dominated Texas counties beating the bushes for votes.

Cruz will crush and bury him. Beto is far left.

Next.
