When you’re at the top of the food chain, and your food attacks you, there is a solution.....
Marinate until the desired tenderness is achieved.
“...Terry Anderson, a board member of the Society for the Conservation of Bighorn Sheep, saw a species he doesn’t consider worthy of conservation...”
Racist.
I would have laughed at this if not for a way back in the day experience. My friend Jill & I were young & hanging out at her cabin in the country. We went for a hike & ended up in a huge field. We were talking & laughing when we noticed that a whole line of cows & a huge bull were lined up on the hill behind us AND making their way down toward us. We ran, they moved fast & we squeezed under a fence.
I will never forget that because it was terrifying. There were many unprintable words screamed while we ran.
“If I had ranches in TX Id bring this herd here, split it in half, add Longhorn bulls and come back in 5yrs to see what kinda mean MFs I had roaming around.”
Why go to all that expense?
Just carry three or four Longhorn bulls there and turn’em loose..
Go back in a few years and witness your contribution to the California landscape.
I love how EVIL some animals become to tree huggers when the animal violates the huggers own perspnal sense of balance...
Where have all the cowboys gone?

Ground Meat
They look like Hereford, a very common beef breed.
California is Vegan don’t you know ,LOL
Great for hamburger! May have to add some fat to the meat as it will be dry.
If only it was so simple:
The U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management, which co-manage the monument's 101,000 acres as wilderness, said they plan in March to dispatch a team of federal land managers, biologists and representatives of the nearby Morongo Band of Mission Indians reservation to come up with a strategy and funds to eliminate the unbranded cattle and collarless dogs.
That process, however, could grind on for months because the animals are crossing jurisdictional boundaries of agencies and governments including the Forest Service's San Bernardino National Forest, the Wildlands Conservancy's Whitewater Preserve and the Morongo reservation.
In addition, any effort to remove the animals must comply with myriad state and federal wildlife regulations. http://www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-feral-bulls-20180302-story.html
Like rabid wolves, they come at you in packs, I see.
Who will save us from these malevolent predators? Where's Rowdy Yates when you need him?
Where’s the Far Side cartoon?
The words, “Trampled” and “gored” come to mind. I have a Colonial ancestor whose “place of death” in his obituary is listed as “bull pasture.” The bull in this case is the critter looking at you from the far left of the picture. He looks young and strong. Late advice to photog: DON’T RUN...
Or as some would call it, beef jerky.....

Why go half way? Import some water buffalo and let them breed the cows.
Oh goody. Some group of nutcases will decide these are special like the mustangs and insist that the cows be managed by the government. They are already spending our tax dollars to keep 60,000 mustangs penned up and “saved”.
“Why go half way? Import some water buffalo and let them breed the cows.”
I’m not familiar with water buffalo.
Are they mean, nasty creatures that seem PO’ed at the world?
No, those are lesbian feminists who look like water buffaloes.
