How big is a Deli .... 1200 sq. ft. ?
MOST ALL of that is in back room, and counter space, leaving what ? ..... an aisle of about six or seven feet wide, maybe fifteen or twenty feet long ?

So a robber says to himself, I know, I'll rob a Deli that is really cramped for space with a piece of steel three feet long after getting out of the car at the curb and getting that piece of steel through a doorway without catching it on something ....... YEAH .... THAT'S the ticket"

"Notice how the knucklehead reporter starts by saying this illustrates the danger of gun violence."

In Connecticut, one of the states that outlawed ARs! LOL!

At least, the article didn’t call it an “assault weapon”.

"Isn't this the second robbery using AR-15's in as many days? Doe anyone else find this odd and suspicious? AR's are expensive weapons and not exactly concealable, and now we have clowns ripping off a clothing store and a deli. Something stinks and it's not the Limburger in the deli!"

Police already caught them, found the weapon, etc. One of them jumped off of an overpass while being chased and croaked.

because it had nothing to do with a robbery. It was a gang war

High probability. The “deli” is probably a front for some other activity, drugs, more than likely. Why no interview with the “deli” owner? Odd. Your store was just shot up, how do you feel? / news babe speak

AR-15 rifles are banned in CT. So the criminal didn’t obey the law. Gun laws don’t work. Politicians take us for fools.

Not at all. AR-15s are the most popular rifle in America. It’s light and easy to wield. They are an ideal weapon for almost every application where a firearm would be needed, legitimate and criminal alike

And they can be had for under $500. Their increasing popularity with bad guys is not surprising.

It wasn’t even a robbery. Just a spray and pray from outside. They never went in.

Keystone Light $.75 for a 16 oz can?

That's $4.50 a sixpack!

Better price than I can get here out in the country in PA.

and “Will Soon Arrest Them”?

WTF. CT is trying to be the most F’d up state in the country.

“hey! guy with AR15 that likes to fire randomly at people you don’t like. The cops are coming to arrest you soon. Keep an eye out, ok?”

This is a super bad neighborhood. It’s a super bad town. In a super bad state.

The Singer Sewing machine factory used to be right around the corner. In fact, several founding american companies were all on that little island.

Now it’s the red light district.

Of all the gun grabbers in the US, Dan Malloy (Their stinking governor) is the only one who has said what the true purpose of the ban is.

Dan Malloy said in a press conference after the Newtown shootings that (sic) he wanted to take away the guns because want to use them against the government.

He said that. Didn’t even correct himself.
