My wife and I met at work and have been happily married for going on 6 years. It doesn’t always end poorly.

I gotcha but, if it goes bad, things can get real ugly real quick. Glad it worked for you.

My wife and I dated for two years while working together and then enjoyed a 30 year marriage. The issue here isn't dating someone you work with, it's betraying your wife and children by committing adultery.

The issue here isn’t dating someone from work, like as you point out, it can work out wonderfully. The issue is that he had an adulterous affair, and is now leaving two little girls with a broken home.

Meeting someone at work can cover a fairly open scenario. Perhaps someone from head office meeting someone who works at another branch, etc.

A married man having an affair with someone much younger (who looks like a hooker), and works directly under him (no pun intended) is another subject.

Did she have twin children at the time, or did you? That's what is "poor" about this situation, as in "poor little kids whose father left their mother for a homewrecker."

I met my wife at work also, and been married for over 35 years.

But neither one of us was married nor had kids that would’ve been hurt because of a cheating scandal and a divorce.

Like Don Henley says...”while lawyers clean up all details.”.
