Chicago police are trying to identify the dozens of students from Simeon Career Academy who they say took part in a vandalism spree while they were supposed to be protesting guns.
Shoppers and store employees were stunned by the destruction Wednesday morning at the Walmart in Chatham Market on the South Side.
Chicago police say it started when students at neighboring Simeon Career Academy were allowed to leave the school for 17 minutes to take part in the nationwide walkout to protest guns.

Shouldn’t they be criminally charging the Administrators and Teachers with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor?
The School is Liable for the actions during school hours, especially if they encouraged this illegal truancy, Walmart should go after the School Teachers and Principal Personally for Damages.

Little thugs will use any excuse to misbehave. They’ll be easy enough to ID when they post themselves all over social media.

It’s always been a mystery to me why so many blacks have names that are pronounced “simian.” Maybe they’re just not familiar with the term.
Thinking law abiding citizens in danger zones don’t usually want gun control. With that, they’d have no way to defend themselves.
These brave patriotic students went out there to show the world the very reason people need the right to bear arms. (s)
Simeon? They were a bunch of thugs back when I was in HS long ago in a prior century.

Here in flyover country school proceeded as usual. Not a single peep about walkouts. Of course, most of these kids hunt, so....
And that's why Democrats DO want gun control -- so that their criminal constituents are safe from people defending themselves.
Keep in mind that, in the inner city, the probability of any given voter having a relative, friend, or bed-mate with a criminal record approaches certainty.
I went to a tough high school in Chicago. Years later I looked it up. It appears to be 100% black now, and the school has a built-in day care center for all the students’ babies. They’ve also renamed it to a fancy “academy” name. I don’t know what all these “academy” names are supposed to accomplish. I guess good self-esteem.
Hahaha…these cretins from the “Career Academy “were just doing field work. Their career will be stealing stuff.
I think they mis-spelled it.
