I understand all that. But sessions didn’t do it to save his own skin. It doesn’t hurt his job security but he had no choice.
I will agree Sessions does not “need” to save his job. He is well stocked with benefits from his years as Senator.
But it is obvious to me Sessions is a laid back guy. He was a back bencher in Senate. He is not known to ruffle feathers. He is a classic bureaucrat, who works methodically at glacial pace.
That is not what the country needs to drain the swamp. AG is the chief law enforcement officer. We need a person with high courage, not a back bencher.
