Why a “special prosecutor”? There’s no constitutional support for such.
The HOUSE is the ONLY body constitutionally assigned to impeach (formal charges) a high government official (US Const. Art. I, Sec. 2, Cl. 5). Thus, it should be the HOUSE that hires investigators and prosecutors for impeachment issues. If there is reasonable suspicion that FBI officials are corrupt, then the HOUSE should investigate and charge if/when probable cause is found. After impeachment, the Senate, which is the ONLY body constitutionally assigned to try impeachments (Art. I, Sec. 3, Cl. 6), should continue investigation if necessary.
If it’s for federal crimes done by lower government officials or those not currently in office, then the FBI/CIA should investigate and indict if probable cause is found. The first step in this case is cleaning up the FBI’s own house.
The whole concept of a “special prosecutor” is convoluted. The DOJ is part of the Executive Branch reporting to the President. There is an obvious conflict of interest with a “special prosecutor” assigned by the Executive Branch to investigate the executive Branch.
MAGA means RESTORING our Free Constitutional Republic. We MUST get back to the Rule of Law of the Constitution over the feds. It is precisely the relentless attacks and tyranny of the Delusional Lying Left that we must just as relentlessly pursue reestablishing the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land - the ONLY legal protection against the tyranny of the whims of the Rule of Man.
On CNN this morning it was said the TRUMP said the probe must be shut down. That is their leap from an attorney HOPING it would wrap up.

President Trump can easily shut down Mueller.Why? Beuase he has been proven to be a political operative.
Its simple really. President Trump should just fire both Mueller and Rosenstein, and then dare Congress to impeach him!
That’s good to go for 63% of America’s registered voters.

Appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the DOJ and the FBI !
When Mueller is fired, the action becomes obfuscation and grounds for impeachment.
The only way for the president and the Republican party to defend against Mueller is terrible swift offense that envelops and destroys the whole of the conspiracy.
Only complete, that is total, destruction of the progressives will save the Republic.
I think everybody including the progressives understands that terrible but simple historical fact.
It’s also time to end Mueller.

Rosenstein committed a felony when he signed the dirty FISA warrant to monitor Trump’s campaign, in hopes of handing the election to Hillary. Rosenstein doesn’t want the Mueller witch hunt shut down. He wants Mueller to keep on expanding the fishing expedition for as long as it takes.
A special prosecutor is needed to investigate Mueller and his gang for various crimes, including sedition.
He is entitled to hope.
Waaay past time to shut Mueller down.
It's a good time for that. Coming from Trump's lawyer isn't the "strongest voice." Get the pundits, ex-FBI, ex-DOJ, politicians beating the drum. Rosenstein already got a weak taste of this under questioning, asked to defend the scope of Mueller's work. The answer was vague and indefinite BS, under the shroud of "investigatory secrecy."

It has been over a year and nothing has come of it except almost daily articles about ‘Mueller has this or Mueller has that’. I am so sick of hearing about this joke contrivence of the democratic party that I have lost interest. It will not be long before others are sick of it too.
