So, hit the feedback button on the youtube page and give them an ear full.
Liberal or not, they might back down if they get enough “I’m looking for an alternative to your video site” comments.
For every one of those they get, they know 1000 more people feel the same way. The moment they believe the damage may cause a loss of their monopoly on video hosting, it might be enough to make them pause.
Or... they may be willing to sink themselves over political causes. Either way, now is the time to say something to them. Not later.
The videos are still up. This is misreported.
I just posted with no problem
Guns are the new porn. ;-)
Sounds like an opportunity to break up with YouTube
Surly someone can come up with a competing video site

DTube - people on FR have been saying it’s better than YouTube.
Yep. Something else will come along and we'll all flock to it.
alternatives to YouTube are out there and growing
“...with a new ban on videos which demo firearms or link to websites...”
I’m sure they’ll include every movie clip from hollyweird that features a gun.../s
It looks like he’s posting on full30. His new videos are still being put on on Youtube as well.

Yeah exactly! What hypocrites.
Time for guntube.com
I have been looking at it for a month or two, (still considering joining) and it is not 'better' than youtube.
About 30% of the videos on there are worse then the worst of vanity posts on FR.
30%of them are predictions / 'analysis' on various cryptocurrency schemes.
30% of them are pirated music videos or video gamer play recordings.
Maybe 10% of them are somewhat interesting to an 'normal' audience.
And many people who have tried to join D-tube have been trying for 6 weeks and still can't get in.
Same with the parent of D-tube, Steemit. Only rather than videos, they have text and still image threads, like here at FR, except the threads at Steemit are mostly tripe.
IMHO, anyway.

You mean that cool Russian dude can’t display all his neat stuff anymore?
Hmmmmm.... I’ve been watching a bunch of “gun demonstration” videos on YouTube today.... Must be a narrow group of vids banned.
I posted two SKS rifles on a local board here in TX and for the first time ever, someone flagged them and stated one was “inappropriate” and the other overpriced (below what others sell for). The world has gone crazy.
You mean “SPF Russia”? That’d suck.
