“Trump is done!!”

One man against a 4 trillion dollar corrupt stasi state, both parties, corrupt courts, blue states and the entirety of the fakstream media...The chances that he could change D.C. on his own was ALWAYS A LONG SHOT. We needed all hands on deck...The republicans stabbed him in the back.

IMO, Trump sounds like he’s been given an offer he can’t refuse. Threatened in some way by our stasi state.

One thing we know for sure, is that ‘our’ fed govt is irreparably corrupt and illegitimate. Prepare accordingly.

Its not Trump’s fault.
Its the GOP-e who just got played and ended up forcing Trumps hand.
This is NOT going to go well for Ryan, Flake, McCain and Turtle.

When the glass is busted over your head and then the broken end stuck deep in you spine, it is considerably far beyond just “half empty”.

Civil war is when opposing parties fight one another to take over the power of a country, or to exert their sole control over a country. That did NOT happen in 1861-1865, no matter what the pundits labeled the fight.

The southern states seceded, and thus were no longer part of the union. So, the fight was between two different countries. The southern states did not want to nor did they seek to overthrow the Lincoln administration. Indeed, the southern states wanted to be left alone, and to go their own way, and to let the northern states (The US of A)go their own way. Our Revolutionary war was more of a civil war than the so-called Civil War of 1861-1865, as the colonials — British subjects — fought the Crown (their own government) to get rid of that government in the colonies, and become independent.

Such a small potato compared to Trumps’ total surrender on his signature issue and rallying cry of “Build the Wall.”

How did such a surrender for Bush on “Read My Lips.....” work out for the rest of his term and his reelection?

Read the U.S. Constitution and see how little power the President actually has.

It's easy to forget this because we've grown accustomed to a lazy, detached Congress ceding their authority to the executive branch over the years, but the President actually has very little power to act on his own.

“I don’t think he’s going to run for a second term. He said yesterday if he could go back in the past he would tell himself not to run for President. I really don’t blame him, a year of having his name constantly bashed, his business being trashed, his family being threatened and I lay it ALL down to this Republican party, these utter slimebags like McCain, Ryan, McConnell who have done NOTHING to help him.”

Good post. I wouldn’t blame him, either. I wouldn’t be surprised if he resigned and told the American people that their ‘government’ is beyond repair. Something we know all too well.

... sad that this man is the best the Republicans can offer the country at such a critical time.

Well, no. The GOP establishment didn't want him at all.

This is what happens when you elect a de facto independent as President of the United States. He has no leverage because you can probably count his supporters in Congress on two hands and one foot.

If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law. Every Order, Resolution, or Vote to which the Concurrence of the Senate and House of Representatives may be necessary (except on a question of Adjournment) shall be presented to the President of the United States; and before the Same shall take Effect, shall be approved by him, or being disapproved by him, shall be repassed by two thirds of the Senate and House of Representatives, according to the Rules and Limitations prescribed in the Case of a Bill.

If he vetoed that bill it would have gone back to both Houses of Congress ... and his veto would have been overridden with nearly unanimous votes.

This is what happens when you elect a de facto independent as President of the United States.

Thanks for the link - - see tag...

“Everyone admits the past 40+ years of U.S. trade deals have resulted in the massive export of U.S. wealth via jobs and manufacturing gains within other nations. The financial beneficiaries of those prior trade positions were: Wall Street, multinational corporations and multinational banks.”

“The losers of all prior trade priorities was the U.S. middle-class. This point is inarguable, just look around. Stop the nonsense and quit listening to those who control the markets.”

At least he would have been on record as sticking to his principles. Now he figured out how to look weak and leave a trail of blood in the water.

Because the Dems want to bleed out the GOP in a shut down. After a few weeks of chaotic GOP Civl War no doubt the Dems would have supplied the votes for a new bill. An even worse bill most likely.

You're right - the next one would have been worse.

This was his first full budget, after an historic election. He got rolled.

Everyone gets fat (domestic spending, military establishment, Democratic priorities) except for what Trump promised.

Even indictments at this point won’t change the fact that he got rolled.

It is how fishers kill porcupines. After mauling their face, they flip them on their back and rip their stomach out.

Politically, game over.

Thank you for all that you have done and do, for our country. So if working within AND outside the system won’t work, then it’s only by divine intervention that the nation will be restored. Time will tell.
