I understand your take on what’s really happening, but it still looks bad from a conservative point of view.
If this many advertisers only required the slightest whiff of any old excuse to bail, why did they sign up in the first place?

I would have thought these ads were locked in; or purchased on a contractual basis, i.e. “We have paid to run ads on this show for the next six to eight months.” I guess there is no penalty for stopping anytime for any reason.

Roger Ailes would have openly and repeatedly defended Laura. That is my opinion. He would have encouraged other Fox hosts to do the same. I don’t know if that’s happening in this case.

Or maybe they're going to keep paying for the ad time for the next few months without actually running any ads.

Although ... since her show is so new, I can't imagine anyone would make any commitments for more than 30-60 days at a time.

Johnson & Johnson

Woody Johnson is an heir to Johnson & Johnson. He is a big Republican that endorsed Donald Trump, has donated over a million dollars to Republican candidates, he is the owner of the New York Jets, and is currently the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Guess he has no control of corporate policies!

I think Expedia owns 12 or more travel companies including Orbitz.

Corporate America is kowtowing to some snot nosed kid who got his feelings hurt????

I couldn't give a ship about his feelings.
But that many millionaire someones are nurturing and grooming a male Hillary Rodham with delusions of importance and a strong tendency toward the dictatorial, tyrannical, despotic and totalitarian...

That
is scarier
than the 8 years of Obamadork and
the almost 8 years of Hillary-the-loser Ugly Fat Cow...

The Ditz managed to allow The Hogg to change The Parkland Narrative from inept Sheriff Israel, cowardly officer Scot Peterson and the incompetent FBI to gun control and corporate sponsors on Fox. That Laura, she’s one of a kind!

Laura doesn’t deserve this.

But she should not have apologized. Her apology to the leftists is akin to waving a red towel in front of a bull.

Yeah exactly. A lot of conservatives are still going to the movies, even though boycotting Hollywood would really hurt the left.

The 14 advertisers that have dropped Ingraham’s show since Wednesday include:

Jenny Craig,

Atlantis Paradise Island,
Stitch Fix,
Global investment group Principal,
Johnson & Johnson,
Hulu,

Nestle,

Trip Advisor,
and Ruby Tuesday.

So far, of those 14...
5 I never heard of and am never likely to need them.

1 I ordered from and the service was a nightmare.

4 I have heard of but never likely to buy or use.

2 I presently use or subscribe to, but can do without.

2 I am actively seeking substitutes for.

If Amazon joins the list of social activism first, business second losers, I will be in a world of hurt, but I'll manage.
Amazon, Best Buy and Costco can and do substitute for almost anything, so bye bye Office Depot.

Most importantly, I will write individual letters to the worst and biggest offenders.
The stockholders can deal with them after that. Just complaining on line or in a forum has no effect whatsoever.

Single owner or family owned small businesses on the list can just wither away and die; their choice...

We Freepers can take on that cooperative task and avoid a lot of wasted, duplicated time and effort.
I will follow this response with the data of three of the more obscure (to me) names on that list so far.

Well, I guess I can make sure I don’t get any ‘boo-boos’ necessitating bandaids. Other than that, I have never patronized any on that list, so my boycott would not be felt by any of them.

This whole tempest in a teapot is the silliest thing I have seen in years; not just sensitive little Hoggie, but Ingraham, Faux News, all the advertisers and the Soros /0bama / DNC operatives that are the power behind the whole thing wasting their time, emotions and efforts on this silly little tiff.

If you aren’t already boycotting Amazon, then you haven’t been paying attention.

Bezos is a bigger enemy of Freedom, the Constitution (and Trump) than any of the ones on this list.

I agree completely.

He would have sent her back out there and told her to bust some chops.

Now the Murdoch boys are in charge and their idea of a valued employee is Shepherd Smith, whom they just signed to a fat new contract.

Squishes and probably swishes.

Hmmm, maybe he really is a 20 yr old from Califrornia, rather than a 17 yr old from Broward County Florida.

Has anyone seen this clown's long form birth certificate?
Could he be almost 30?
Could he be a graduate of the The Charm School?

We got to get his fingerprints.
We also need to get his record of bullying in kindergarten and first grade.

All we know so far is he's arrogant.
He has a huge mouth.
He bad-mouths his own parents.

And as soon a we check his prints and determine his age, we can guess what year he plans to run for Big Brother...

Triple Tiny Tot Twit, trapped in a 20 or 30-something old body.

"I think she shared with all of her followers."

If that's true, and she didn't send it directly to Hogg, then the "cyberbullying" charge goes from weak to non-existent. It's not "bullying" when you criticize someone away from their presence, nor is a mild jibe about whining about college admission results anywhere near what we usually think of as "bullying." But the left has repeatedly described this single mild putdown as a "savage campaign of cyberbullying."

If Fox moves left, they will just be one of the leftist crowd, they will lose their audience, and someone will need to reinvent it.
