Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) acknowledged this week that the 2018 midterm cycle could prove especially difficult for the Republican Party in the face of increased Democratic voter enthusiasm.
In an interview with Kentucky Today, published Tuesday, McConnell admitted: “This is going to be a challenging election year."
“We know the wind is going to be in our face,” he continued. “We don’t know whether it’s going to be a Category 3, 4 or 5.”

They do want to lose. If they wanted to win, all they have to do is support Trump. They would rather be the minority whiners than the majority leaders.
Who is the “we” he refers to?

The republicans had a chance to do everything they wanted and people here fret about why they chose only to bust the budget. The truth is, they did everything they want. That is who they are.

Being minority gives them the opportunity to blame Democrats and have an excuse for not being able to help Trump.
The Mitch McConnell crowd dumped Roy Moore in the Alabama special election last December, a harbinger of what’s coming.
They do want to lose, it is so obvious that we should be on his lawn demanding he and others so called GOP members step down immediately or swing from lampposts.
I can’t say what I think of Mitch McConnel other than he’s a slimeball traitor.
