add Albright’s name to the LONG list of politicians, media (including NPR), etc who have shown themselves to be ANTI-DEMOCRATIC since Donald Trump winning the presidency.

“the most anti-democratic leader that I have studied in American history”

This just shows she is not a very good student of history.

Let us ignore for a second her obvious bias (first being a Democrat and second having worked for a previous President).

How can any honest historian make such a statement about a President with less than 18 months in office. This type of evaluation can not be made until long after the President (any President’s) term expires and you can look at the big picture.

Albright is just reading from the left’s playbook. All Republicans are stupid, and evil, and incompetent and so on.

The fact she is getting any attention just proves (once again) the bias of the media.

You mean we’re not going around constantly meddling in other countries’ internal affairs and whining that they should treat their gay, poor, crippled, transgendered, aids infested, ethnic minorities better by letting them use whatever bathroom suits them that day, etc? Good! That’s none of our concern anyway.

I seriously can’t understand the mass illusion of the left.

All of these people, all they do is state the exact opposite of the truth. It’s a big machine that does one thing.

before segueing into an examination of today’s authoritarian regimes in Eastern Europe

Hungary? Poland? The Czech Republic? Is refusing to be Germany and the EU's victim now a sign of an authoritaian regime?

Albright called Trump “the most anti-democratic leader that I have studied in American history.”

Albright must have studied her history in a North Korean University while she was clicking Champagne glasses with Kim Il Sung.

Albright pointed to the president’s efforts to “undermine the press”

The press in America is a disgrace. Everyone, including the president has the right to fight back and defend themselves against a highly partisan media that is waging a jihad against Trump with 24/7 fake news.

and his “disdain for the judiciary … the electoral process and minorities” as proof he has “anti-democratic” tendencies

Oh yeah....that would be one Barack Obama. No president in history showed more disdain for the judiciary than Obama did. https://www.google.com/search?q=albright+with+kim+il+sung&client=ms

Maybe that is because he supports a republican form of government, as guaranteed by the Constitution...

Albright’s book discusses the rise of fascism in Germany and Italy during the early 20th century before segueing into an examination of today’s authoritarian regimes in Eastern Europe, North Korea, Africa, Turkey, and Russia. During the interview, the former secretary of state stated she wanted the book to serve as a warning for countries with long traditions of freedom and democracy.

Not one of those places has a long tradition of freedom and democracy.

I hope there is a Special Place In Hell for these aging democrat failures who just will not leave the stage when their term in office is over.

Madeline Albright - a senile, porcine incompetent who was one of the most clumsy, bungling, ineffective Secretaries of State in the last 228 years.

The only thing keeping her from being declared the absolute worst of all time is all the competition she has from the likes of Hillary Clinton,
John Kerry, Condoleezza Rice and other failures.

Madeleine Albright’s Other ‘Undiplomatic Moments’

https://www.jns.org/madeleine-albrights-other-undiplomatic-moments/

One of Albright’s most memorable undiplomatic moments took place on Oct. 4, 2000, when she was meeting with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, at the residence of the U.S. ambassador in Paris.

At some point, Arafat had a temper tantrum and stormed out of the meeting. Albright went running down the hall after him, stumbling in her high heels, and shouting to the guards, “Shut the gates! Shut the gates!” in the hope of blocking Arafat’s car from leaving. (We know about this pathetic scene because a Palestinian negotiator happened to be in the hallway, speaking on the phone to a Reuters correspondent, just as the chase and shouting erupted. The Reuters reporter overheard what happened and broke the story.)

My thinking is along the lines of what you just said.

Pure democracy is a simple case of 4 fox, a coyote and two chickens deciding what’s for lunch. And with a properly indoctrinated voting public, this fits nicely with socialism.

I’m pretty sure that was a different murderess - Janet Reno.

Madeline Dimwit was most likely hard at work f—king around with our foreign entanglements when Waco was perpetrated.

Democracy is, or at least has become, stupid. It doesn’t work at all for most of humanity, and we have extended the franchise to absurd lengths. Does Madeline want us to invade more countries to spread democracy? Why?
