Trump should hire Rodrigo Duterte and put him in charge of drug interdiction.

The government of Mexico is in the pocket of the drug cartels. At all levels.

Build the wall

We should just close the border to incoming traffic for 10 days.

Then ask them if they would like to reconsider.

Yep, the US has been in Mexico City before

We even governed that country for a while.

The Mexican government is our enemy and represents a much larger clear and present danger to the US than ISIS ever did.

The UK is our friend? Bwhahahahahahahahahaha

E3 you are sadly mistaken. We have few friends in the world. I am an immigrant who became a proud Mercan. Most of the rest of the world is jealous as hell of us and hate our guts till next time we have to bail their sorry asses out.

That’s absolutely correct. If Mexico is going to officially use their drug cartels against us, then we need to start lighting them up. Shock and awe on the cartels.

Renegotiate NAFTA, hell! Cut them off. Recall our diplomats and shutdown and lock down the borders. Round up and deport ALL Mexican nationals.

Easy solution....put a stop to all money transfers to Mexico since they are suspected drug funds, confiscate them. That’ll drive illegals of all kinds out

So what, after he seals the border and prevents them from coming across to the US, Mexico will have their cartels all to deal with themselves. From INside Meh-ico.

if it is non binding then it is just letting off steam. Imho a binding resolution would put many things at risk such as USA expats retiring in Mexico etc, repatriation of illegal aliens, etc

...Dummies don’t realize Trump can call for tourist boycott of Mexico and cripple them...

They can go to the top of the no travel list right above North Korea.

“stop helping us?”

This has to be the Onion, right?

Absolutely zero doubt in my mind any drug bust the Mexican’s stop is pre-planned in advanced, purely for propaganda reasons.

They are on the take.

“Certainly showing their concern about drug trafficking, aren’t they? They’re worried about all the money they’ll lose if we get illegal immigration under control.”

BINGO! :-)

Moreover, I’m quite sure there are plenty of people north of the Mexican border that get a lot of those “funds”. Illicit drugs are estimated to be a $300B - $500B industry ... all of that is untraceable cash.

No one can tell me that none of our politicians are on the take. I’ll bet half of the politicians in CA alone net a couple billion of those drug dollars per year.
