One thing I just don’t understand is that President Trump seems as frustrated by this as we are, and tweeted yesterday about the “Justice” Department not providing the memos - but he has the authority to FIRE all of those deep state aholes and get the job done... so why ISN’T he? It’s not like the guy’s afraid to fire people, after all.

More and more it becomes obvious that the DOJ and the FBI don't work for us, they don't work for the Congress and they don't work for us. They are the unmasked deep state and are a fourth branch of government. They work for themselves and the rest of us are are subjects. Until they are brought down, they are proving that they are above the law. We need the Marines and military police to kick in the doors at the DOJ and drag out the enemy within that they are. Otherwise, the people need to choose if they are free citizens or subjects and act accordingly.

To those who say President Trump should simply order compliance or fire Rosenstein, how would that help?

Current and former FBI/DOJ people need to go to jail. Exactly who, I don’t know.

President Trump experienced some blowback when McCabe was fired and he had nothing to do with that. And the blowback wasn’t just confined to Democrats.

The FBI/DOJ won’t undergo meaningful reform unless and until some of its employees or former employees go to jail.

Oversight is for Congress. They cannot put people in jail. If declassifying documents or firing people won’t help send people to jail, why do it?

We have no idea how many death threats our President gets on a daily basis. Look at the evil and hate coming against Malania and the children. I have never seen such paganism in my lifetime. I have read about it from history, but I have not seen it here until President Trump took office. My thoughts..We are under a dictatorship partly powered by some very wealthy people overseas who see this President as a threat to their rule and their power. These “rulers” may be involved in all kinds of vices that people would rise up against if that information was available to the masses. Those who have dominated American politics for many years know they cannot buy off Donald Trump, so they must try to annihilate him in some other way. The same people who want him out of the way are also responsible for ruining our culture. So, until something trip the wire which is going to cause good people to rise up, this will not stop. Is war ahead. Sure looks like it. Saw on Drudge where a fire broke out in Trump Tower yesterday. Need I say more?

I think Trump believes that people like Meadows will sort this out, as Dems/Media says he will be impeached, if he fires Mueller, etc.

Trump is focusing on the border and the wall. I don’t think he is afraid to fire anyone, just trying to get past the 2018 election cycle is my take. I could be wrong.

If it’s not sorted out by November...I think Trump will fire the whole lot of them...IMHO.

That is what’s supposed to make you think.

It doesn’t add up so what’s really going on?

Many of these news items are distractions. Keep the criminals busy and oblivious until we have them sewn up tight. President Trump uses twitter to communicate with the American people but also to give the dogs a new bone to worry. He is directing attention where he wants it concentrated. I think in the next few weeks there will be stories breaking that will result in charges.

I believe it’s all tied in to Mueller. Trump can’t afford to do anything that might be construed as “obstruction of justice” Seemingly, doing anything with respect to personnel at the DOJ or the FBI, will give Mueller an opening.

Trump, and the good guys in congress like Meadows need to act like they want the congressional oversight committees to receive the unredacted information - but they really don’t want it to happen.

Congress leaks like a sieve. All the “impeach Trump” types in congress leak everything to the media the minute they see it, and there are no consequences. It doesn’t matter how classified something is - it goes straight to Trump’s enemies so they can sabotage DOJ efforts.

With leaked details of ongoing investigations, the deep state knows exactly which witnesses and evidence needs to disappear or be tainted. If they know the arguments being constructed, they know exactly how to mount a defense or launch a misinformation campaign to undermine it.

Details of ongoing DOJ investigations being released to congress is the very last thing Trump or anyone loyal to him would want.

So, why do Trump, Meadows, Nunes, etc., publicly call for the release of the information? Simple. Keeping secrets and withholding information is always bad politics.

Everyone knows secrecy is a hugely important element in any police work, any criminal investigation, any military or strategic operation - it’s game theory 101.

Unfortunately, despite the legitimate need for secrecy, clever politicians can play on the public’s natural distrust of government to force their political opponents to reveal their secrets.

This is going on all the time in DC - but right now it’s Trump’s enemies that benefit if DOJ is forced to give up details they are not ready to reveal. Trump, Meadows, etc., can’t very well come out and say “We think it’s ok that the DOJ is holding back information” - Trump’s enemies in the media could easily spin it as a cover up. So they act as if they too want the information to see the light of day.

But they clearly don’t. You said it yourself - if Trump wanted that he would have fired Sessions a long time ago.

He can't because he will get impeached by the (R) house, even though they haven't explicitly stated that, due to pressure from the media. They've alluded to this in their words and deeds (or inactions) over the last year.

Yeah, I know, the media can pound sand...but too many week knee'd (R)'s in congress would buckle to their pressure.
