I have read all of David Paulides Missing 411 books. Lots of mysterious disappearances going on out there, especially in Nat’l Parks. Yosemite is a real hot spot for people to disappear and never be found. SAR (search and rescue) crews are baffled by these cases.

Good to know. He’s the most requested guest on Coast to Coast. Not some UFO or conspiracy guy, plus he’s an ex-cop. The most heartbreaking story I saw the interview was the 8 year old kid where the father turned around for 3 seconds and the kid disappeared. No vegetation whatsoever to block his view and the boy was 20 FEET away from him.

In the early ‘70s, one of our city attorneys was on vacation in Hawaii, went hiking alone in a national park, and never returned to his hotel. He just disappeared.

Hawaii is legendary for its cash crops. He may have seen something he shouldn’t have. It was supposed to have been a popular and well-traveled trail. Anyhow, he was gone.
