Mrjory Stoneman Douglas High will not allow gun rights advocate Charlie Kirk to speak on campus.

“The school’s administration has met with the student organizers and advised them that non-school sponsored, student-initiated guest speaker assemblies/meetings are not permitted to take place on campus,” Cathleen Brennan, a Broward School District spokeswoman said in a statement late Thursday night.

The decision came a day after Kirk, whose appearances on college campuses have drawn protests, announced on Twitter he had accepted an invitation from students to speak at the Parkland school, which was the site of a Feb. 14 shooting that left 17 dead.

Kyle Kashuv, the Parkland kid who SUPPORTS THE CONSTITUTION, got 15,000 retweets of his message to Charlie Kirk. Yet the intolerant left running Broward schools refused.

By the way, liberal basketball player Dwyane Wade was allowed to just show up and cheer on the gun grabbers at the school. Broward school idiots cheered him.

This is liberal Broward County.

Now I’m not surprised they don’t want a RKBA viewpoint presented at Stoneman Douglas.

No deviation from the gun control party line is permitted.

The left’s viewpoint and speakers are never controversial.

FU!

You allowed your anti-gun protests on public school property during the school day.

You WILL allow pro-gun campaigns on your campus in the same way.

The 2nd Amendment is controversial - got it.

They’d probably have gotten seizures at Stoneman Douglas had Charlie Kirk’s lecture included slides of an AR-15.

You can’t fix stupid.

It’s not censorship when the Left censors you. Just ask Zuckerman.

"Controversial" is a leftist dog-whistle that means "This bad! BAD!!"

They never apply it to their own people.

The Marxists keep saying that they want to have a ‘conversation’ but what they really wants is for the rest of us to shut up.

***This is liberal Broward County.***

Back in the 1980s, when “Only Handguns” were considered bad and to be banned, the anti-gun group HANDGUN CONTROL INC (now the Brady Center) made plans to get their first anti-handgun bans passed in Florida. This was when rifles were still considered “good” and “Constitutionally protected”, before they realized rifles were a “Target of opportunity” and went for them.

People need to reread a long forgotten Senate report on firearms, Here is a link to it. Following the report(but not listed here) is several pro and anti firearm reports from various lobbying groups.
Have fun finding a complete copy!

The Conclusion is that....

“The conclusion is thus inescapable that the history, concept, and wording of the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as its interpretation by every major commentator and court in the first half-century after its ratification, indicates that what is protected is an individual right of a private citizen to own and carry firearms in a peaceful manner.”

There is no other county in the entire nation that finds itself embroiled in some fiasco as much as Broward Co. does. One would think after all these years someone there would wise up and stop their foolishness. The county is an embarrassment to the entire country.
