As a father I can understand his dilemma. As an American I also understand he broke the law coming here and we the taxpayers are supporting him and his family.

As an American I feel anyone who is here in the USA illegally should be deported back to the country they came from. If you want to become a US citizen fine, do it the right way. We are a nation of immigrants but the majority of us immigrated legally to the US. I have employees who are now US citizens but it took them years, they did have resident alien status.

We should be required to E-verify everyone including the construction workers who skirt the system by getting a federal tax id number in order to be paid for work here.

I’m with you. I can see both sides to this. There is a moral problem with both of the obvious options.

But what I resent even more than this illegal moocher are the media/liberal manipulators who trot out the most heart-wrenching example they can find and then pretend it is representative of every illegal situation and that any conservative backlash is representative of every conservative reaction.

The liberals created this problem and now they want to paint conservatives as the bad guys when they react to the disaster that the liberals created.
