Dem lawmaker calls on Fox News to fire Hannity
The Hill ^ | 16 Apr 2018 | BRETT SAMUELS

Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) said Monday that Fox News should fire Sean Hannity following the revelation that he is a client of President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

Hannity has frequently covered stories about Cohen — including the FBI raids on the New York lawyer's home, hotel room and office last week — without revealing his own connection.

“I think he is so into this like a pig in the mud he can’t get out of it. And I think he deserves to be fired. His word can never again be trusted,” Connolly said on CNN. Connolly said Hannity’s involvement with Cohen represents a conflict of interest, calling it “a big stain on Hannity and Fox News.”

He also hit Hannity for spreading conspiracy theories about former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.

Cohen’s attorney revealed earlier Monday that Hannity is the previously unnamed third client for whom Cohen has done legal work. The revelation came during a hearing connected to the FBI raids.

Cohen's attorney revealed Hannity's identity as they sought to argue they should be able to review materials seized in the raid before federal prosecutors, so that they can determine what documents are protected by attorney–client privilege.

This guy is from Boston, Massachusetts and represents Fairfax County which is a northern Virginia suburb of DC. I’m not sure when it became a firing offence to get legal advice from anyone you chose to but, if I were Sean, I would sue for discrimination insofar as a government representative has attempted to harm his employment relationship.

If they don’t like Hannity’s lawyer, they don’t have to watch his show.

Bizarre.

So if Hannity eats at the same restaurant as Trump occasionally, he should resign?

Bill O was a clown IMO that came down right on a lot of issues. Sean Hannity is a believer. If the left try making him a martyr, I believe he may become an even more powerful galvanizing force.

Where have you people been?

If you support conservatives, you deserve to lose your job and have your life destroyed. Democrats have been doing this for decades.

They tried it against me for posts on Facebook, contacting my HR department in an attempt to get me fired.

Too many FReepers need to wake up and realize that we are at war and slated for extermination if the left ever gets power.

Ho Lee (you know his last name)!

What about the myriad “journalists” on all the Mainstream Media whose spouses or siblings were in the Obama WH or equally close to left wing political power??? No one said a WORD.

There are so many examples of media people covering stories they were involved in, and Hannity is NOT INVOLVED. The Latina reporter in L. A. reported for days that Mayor Villargairosa was caught having an affair. Eventually it was revealed that the AFFAIR WAS WITH HER.

And this is an unconstitutional raid of an attorney and clearly they didn’t limit the files they stole to those pertaining to the President. Why would they grab everything in this lawyer’s files? What if Wolf Blitzer used this lawyer once? Should he be fired too?

WHERE HAS LOGIC OR SANITY GONE?

Well—Given that privilege has now been compromised, what’s the point in having an attorney at all?

This is getting horrific.

I don’t know about Sessions. EVERYONE SHOULD BE UP IN ARMS ABOUT THIS. Even if it were about Anderson Cooper or Maddow. One’s political opinions are NOT AS IMPORTANT as us being OUTRAGED at gestapo tactics.

Do you really need to pay a fee for attorney confidentiality? What if my brother is an attorney and he gives me advice without charge?

Because they would be saying the exact same thing if it was Rachel Maddow or Anderson Cooper instead (Sarcasm).

Connolly has been one of the most corrupt politicians in Virginia history.
He was in the pockets of developers and illegal alien lobby groups.
He made Fairfax county a sanctuary county years ago, and pored millions into day labor sites. He made Fairfax police hide illegal alien crime in official reports.

Now this corrupt bastard slanders someone exercising their access to a lawyer.
