Oh the memoirs J. Edgar Hoover could write. He wrote the book on keeping dirty tricks files on everyone.
J. Edgar Hoover enabled people like Comey. He was the head of first the Bureau of Investigation and then the FBI — for over 50 years. Kept secret files on, and spied on politicians and Americans, meddled greatly in politics, had his own bureaucratic fiefdom and felt himself above the law.
Seems to describe Comey and the FBI I’ve been reading out the last 2 years.

Bringing up Hoover is quite appropriate.
One has to ignore the history of the FBI to claim that it has never been nor can it ever be corrupted.
Comey is proof that it currently is.

I was at a doctor’s office this morning with my grandson, this show came on and I groaned. Then they announced that Comey was the guest. It was awful. I have never voluntarily watched that program, I am a thinking person and those womyn are not. Most of the ‘questions’ were slobbery versions of tell us how wonderful you are and how horrible Trump is. McCain did have a few questions that were actually to the point, but not many and not strong questions.
My take away from having to sit through the entire program is that Comey is actually a petty beta male and that his wife wears the pants in that relationship and that he cares more about not offending her than enforcing the law of the land.
