Nobody cared about Clinton, either. If he had just done the right thing, said “I’m sorry” and settled, he would never have gotten himself into the perjury situation in the first place. We all knew what he was like, and that he and Hillary were in a marriage of convenience.
That really didn’t matter. It was the perjury that did him in. And I have always thought that it was the angry Hillary who kept him from just admitting guilt, settling and moving on.
