London’s crime wave will develop into “carnage” come summer, a leading trauma surgeon has predicted, warning ultra-violence in the capital is “the new normal”.
Dr Martin Griffiths, a consultant surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust, said soaring knife and gun crime has resulted in London “looking more like South Africa, or inner-city U.S.” with regards to the rate of attacks.
“If it was hot weather right now, it would be carnage. When it gets a few degrees warmer, it’s going to be taxing. It’s going to be difficult,” he told The Times.

Privately, if you get London folks to talk about this....all of this leads back to youth gangs, and their interpretation of either disrespect, or bad ‘looks’ cast upon them. Few, if any, of these stabbings come from guys over the age of forty.
I think the surgeon is correct....summer, and along with people being out later at night....will lead onto more stabbings. The next mayor election is not until May of 2020...where I think Khan will be let go, and some hardline guy will arrive on the scene with a tough job.

We can all hope that the next mayor of London will be hard line. The reality is that London is now majority Moslem and will no doubt vote for a Muslem Mayor. How likely is it that the voters of London will vote for a law and order candidate?! And if there is a law and order candidate Moslem candidate who gets elected, will he then arrest the soccer holligans and let the Jihadies go free?!
