Fearing Chaos, National Democrats Plunge Into Midterm Primary Fights
The New York Slimes ^ | April 21, 2018 | Alexander Burns

FULLERTON, Calif. — The Democrats’ message to Mai Khanh Tran was polite but unsparing. With half a dozen Democrats running for Congress in her Orange County district, they showed her a discouraging poll and argued that she could not win — and risked fracturing the party in the June primary election.

Ms. Tran pointedly replied that she was “the only qualified woman, the only immigrant and the only physician in the race.”

“I said to them, frankly, let the voters decide,” recalled Ms. Tran, a pediatrician.

The national Democratic Party was not chastened: On Wednesday, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee took sides in that House race and backed Gil Cisneros, a Navy veteran and former Republican.

With their forceful intervention in Orange County, national Democrats have lunged into an impatient new phase of the 2018 primary season — one in which they are clashing more openly with candidates and local political chieftains in their drive to assemble a slate of recruits for the midterms.

The problem for the RATs is that they have no money! How do you do a “Mitch McConnell” on an “unacceptable candidate,” if you don’t have the money to bury them? Time to check popcorn futures!

“The big news is that the Vietnamese who fled communism and were staunch Republicans for more than a generation are abandoning the Republican party.”

The Viet immigrants are anti-communists. But their children have been thoroughly brainwashed by the public education system and the media. The most convincing lie they have bought from the leftist propaganda is Republicans are racists and implicitly Democrats are not. Then the herd mentality typical of Asians does the rest.
But IIRC, the majority of Vietnamese stil vote Republican.

Not here. We have a fairly large community and what Democrat voters are among them keep their mouths shut and don’t tell anyone about it for the shame it would bring. They come from a place where they experienced the effects of intrusive government, some of them two governments, and don’t want to deal with government at all. I see the same thing among the Cubans though third and fourth generation Cubens have often become generic Americans. The local Viets haven’ got there yet. Those who got some higher education before they came, even if it was in the post ‘75 universities, know now more about Constitutional be our system of government than most of their round-eyed neighbors.

The DNC is lost in a sea of debt and dispair.

“Let’s sue Trump and some Russians”, maybe that will work.

They will soon through Mueller under the bus as all of his deep state compatriots are brought to account by verified charges that should be treason.

Let’s go.

You F88king tools and fools of some shortsighted path to Utopia.

Bring it on.

Your Media partners of propaganda no longer have the impact that you desire.

Evidently the DNC is unfamiliar with the concept of discovery.

It’s going to be fun when they find out.

I would suggest that they are perfectly familiar with discovery and its implications.

They don’t care.

They are desperate to win the Mid-terms and we are seeing their long term efforts condensed in a last ditch effort to control the media’s narrative.
