After the special counsel is appointed, Strzok writes he disagrees with a decision involving the special counsel that's redacted in the texts provided to Congress. "It won't end with him. It will have a chilling effect on others. It won't engender any of the happylovetimes goodwill with staff that seem to be oozing from burr and warner," Strzok writes.

How did CNN get them
I'm I reading that right?
also from the article?
But there are also likely to be new questions over the texts, as many of them are cryptic and use shorthand that isn’t clear.
For instance, in the immediate aftermath of the Comey firing on May 9, 2017, Strzok texted: “We need to open the case we’ve been waiting on now while Andy is acting.”
It’s not clear what Strzok case is referring to. CNN has reached out to attorneys of Strzok and Page for comment.
Don’t get too excited.
This was only 49 pages from a couple who texted 16 hours a day.
There’s still the majority of texts missing.
Correct
But does the article say that CNN got texts that Congress didn’t? (Congress got redacted version)
what does this mean from the CNN article?
Strzok writes he disagrees with a decision involving the special counsel that’s redacted in the texts provided to Congress.
This text is clear that it was planned (setup) for the special counsel to go into effect after Comey was fired with McCabe setting things in motions
Don’t know.
Somebody’s in big trouble if that’s what happened.
did a little digging...from Sara Carter today...
https://saraacarter.com/recovered-fbi-strzok-and-page-texts-expected-today/
It is not certain how the texts will be received by Congress but according to several Congressional sources, the redacted version of the texts will be delivered, while the unredacted version will remain in possession of the DOJ, where they can be viewed by Congressional investigators.
how about following Free Republic rules and post the original headline as required?
people would be way less confused than the illegal BS headline you made up ...
actual article headline is:
“Recovered text messages between FBI officials capture reactions to Comey firing, Mueller appointment”
The article headline doesn’t even remotely address my question which was HOW DID CNN GET THEIR HANDS ON TEXTS THAT WERE REDACTED TO THE CONGRESS...it was a buried deep in the article
I don’t think CNN has unreacted texts.
I think they are describing the texts as being redacted.
Senator Burr is a WASTE of skin!
Representative DeSantis said there were a lot of gaps in the messages, which means that they don't have them all. I watched a clip of him on Hannity tonight, and Sean brought up the topic of Strzok and Page using multiple devices.
What are they redacting, Oswald was seen in Roswell?
Only the IG report matters. Hopefully.
I hope that the only thing Strzok will be stroking in the future in jail is himself. Let Page find another Strzoker for herself, in jail.
They are unethical and politically corrupt and should have their security clearances revoked ASAP so as to prevent them from either destroying other subpoenaed documents or to keep them from seeing classified material of any kind.
They should be put on a paid furlough until the investigations are over, and if a grand jury is sitting on their actions, its decision.
Contempt of Congress is another charge that could be used against them to get them out of their offices and into some basement closet.
And there are gaps
Waaaay worse than 18 mins
Yep, 49 pages out of probably 16,000.
Imagine our productivity before the internet came along.
How come these texts sound like the FBI has hired a bunch
of teenage girls ?
let’s face it, they were planning a coup.
