Televangelist Jim Bakker calls his Missouri cabins the safest spot for the Apocalypse
Kansas City Star ^

Televangelist Jim Bakker suggests that if you want to survive the end of days, the best thing you could do is buy one of his cabins in Missouri's Ozark Mountains. And while you're at it, be sure to pick up six 28-ounce "Extreme Survival Warfare" water bottles for $150.

Bakker, 78, made comments promoting his Morningside church community alongside his co-host and wife, Lori, on an episode of "The Jim Bakker Show," which aired Tuesday. The show is filmed there, near Branson.

Jim Bakker? By any chance is he related to the legendary tenor John Daker?

Our office manager was at lunch one day and she and her friend were recounting stories of the Bakkers and making fun of Tammy Faye. When they got up to leave, they saw that Tammy was sitting right behind them. She felt some embarrassment but only briefly. Just about anything you could say about the Bakkers was true.

IF there WAS an apocalypse, then why would he need the money? Why not give them away?

Once there is an Apocalypse there is no more need for money.

Unless you go to the other place.

Personally, I can’t see the devil giving up money.

Jim Bakker is actually a ruthless, calculating ,manipulative mean guy. If the Apocalypse were to hit he would probably be an evil cult leader with an army of killer drones(people) ready to die for him.

I remember the t-shirts that had makeup splatters on them. Read “I ran into Tammy Fay at the mall”.

I checked his net worth and mine is much higher.

Really? Jim is very, very good at selling. I looked into hiring him to move a product "near" his core categories and learned how much he and his clients make. He is very, very effective at moving product.

There are few idea worse than buying an Ozark Mountain cabin from a Convicted Felon.

Buying the Ice Cube franchise for Antarctica?
