Joe DiGenova: Frustrated President May Fire 'Clowns' Sessions and Rosenstein
PJ Media ^ | MAY 17, 2018 | DEBRA HEINE

Posted on 05/18/2018 11:40:08 AM PDT by xzins

Attorney Joe diGenova predicted that both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions' days are numbered at the Department of Justice during a telephone interview with Newsmax's Howie Carr Wednesday. DiGenova's claim came after the New York Times published a report titled "Code Name Crossfire Hurricane: The Secret Origins of the Trump Investigation". The report has been interpreted by many as an attempt by sources within the "Deep State" to cushion the blow of the imminent DOJ inspector general report, which is expected to be explosive.

In March, President Trump considered adding diGenova and his wife Victoria Toensing to his legal team, but conflicts of interest reportedly prevented him from hiring them. The attorney is still in contact with Trump, and told Carr that "the president has had it up to his scuppers with these clowns."

Buried deep within the NYT report is the bombshell revelation that Obama's FBI spied on the Trump campaign with covert "informants" (read "spies," or "moles") and electronic surveillance during the 2016 election. Also, contrary to the NYT's previous reporting, the article revealed that the spying did not begin with either Carter Page's interactions with Russians or George Papadopoulos's drunken conversation with Australian ambassador Alexander Downer in London. The spying began before that.

"Let me just tell you something," diGenova began. "My whole body just absolutely convulses when I listen to the idiots on national television who dare to suggest that those of us who believe that there was a brazen plot to exonerate Hillary Clinton illegally, and then if she lost to frame Donald Trump, to suggest that we are -- quote -- conspiracy theorists. I gladly say that I am. The only difference is I have evidence to substantiate the conspiracy."

He added: "If I were still a U.S. attorney, I would have an indictment of about nine different people in three days on the facts that are readily available on the public record."

DiGenova told Carr that Brennan, Comey, and Clapper, as well as six other people in the hierarchy of DOJ and FBI in the Obama administration, need to lawyer up. He predicted at the end of the interview that Brennan would have to face a grand jury. "Whether or not he ever goes to prison, I don't know, but this is for certain -- he should," DiGenova said, calling Obama's spy chief "the worst of the bunch" and "an evil man."

"This notion in the NYT that they had some serious evidence against Trump!" diGenova scoffed. "What they're doing now is they are trying to protect the informant, the spy, the agent provocateur ... who was planting false evidence with two people, Carter Page and George Papadopoulos, so that they would repeat it and then the FBI could pretend to pick it up and then use it to get FISA warrants," he explained.

"This is so sinister, so treacherous, so inconsistent, and so un-American that any Democrat, who like this idiot Adam Schiff from California, who pretends to believe that the FBI was acting properly in this, is a moron. A purposeful moron!" diGenova exclaimed. "They're beyond the 'useful idiots' that the Communists used to use."

The former federal prosecutor had advice for the attorney general on how to handle the FBI sources who leaked to the Times.

"Now if Jeff Sessions is a good little boy and knows his job, what he does this afternoon is he grabs little Rod Rosenstein -- Frankenstein's monster -- by the scruff of the neck, and he says, 'look you S.O.B., you get a frickin' grand jury right now and get a subpoena to everybody at the senior levels of the FBI and former senior FBI officials, put them in the grand jury and you ask them, who talked to the New York Times?'" he advised. "That's what you do if you're a real cop -- and I don't think Sessions is," he added.

DiGenova explained that the whole point of the Comey/Clapper/Brennan operation was to ruin Trump's presidential bid and if that failed, to ruin his presidency. He expressed frustration that Sessions has been unable to see through what he called "a coup d'etat."

"If he can't see that, he's not competent to be attorney general!" he exclaimed. "He hasn't recused himself from understanding that a presidency is being assaulted illegitimately by Mueller and by current and former people in the FBI and the intelligence community."

DiGenova warned that Sessions is on thin ice with the president and his days may be numbered. "If it comes out that Jeff Sessions has not authorized a grand jury into all those unmaskings, all those leaks, ... and Ben Rhodes and John Brennan and James Clapper have not been authorized for subpoenas, ... if he has not authorized that, he's going to be fired," he predicted.

The reason he knew that, DiGenova said, was that both Rosenstein and Sessions had been to the White House twice in the past two weeks to meet with White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, and they were told their jobs were "not secure."

"The president has had it up to his scuppers with these clowns and he has every right in the world to be furious with the incompetence of the Department of Justice under Rosenstein and Sessions," diGenova explained, adding, "I have been told that by people who know."

Go ahead and dream.

They act like patriots, at least.

Sessions acts like a lost child and Rosenstein is in open rebellion against potus.

“Sessions had zero role in stopping amnesty.”

Wrong! Saw it live right in the Senate.

"

It’s not too late for him to do the honorable thing and resign for the good of the country."

I agree, Sessions should go ahead and commit seppuku. Oh wait, that's not what you had in mind. My bad.

That’s it in a nutshell. Sessions has spent more time lavishing praise on Rosenstein than he’s spent supporting Trump. People tell us not to believe our own eyes and ears, but cold, hard evidence beats wishful thinking any day.

Did you ever think that “The Silent Executioner” might be aiming for Trump?

I f you have so much insight into what’s about to hit the fan, do share, as we would all love to be in the know.

I amend: Gen Kelly, exonerated and placed over the FBI! DiGenova as ATTY Gen and Victoria to head NSA. Time for trials and hangings. Brennan must be disposed of before he flees to Iran with ValJar.

Facts are (or should be) your friends. Amnesty passed the Senate with the greatest of ease.

“McCabe was given a criminal referral a month ago.
The IG report regarding McCabe stated he lied 4 times.
3 times under oath
When is the “party” for McCabe going to start?”

Thought I told you this yesterday but if it takes a daily reminder until an indictment is released to the public, ok, I’ll do my best to help you FRiend.

The party for McCabe already started the day he was fired. He knew he was toast as the FBI themselves condemned him to an untimely end.

McCabe knows he will soon have company and so was smart enough to put out a legal GoFundMe page even as he’s worth more than $10 million according to most public estimates.

That page brought in a lot of coin and that’s going to a criminal lawyer for his defense.

The public soon learned there’s a criminal referral on McCabe. His troubles are only beginning. At the right time, McCabe’s indictment will be made public along with others as part of a strategic decision to take on a seditionist conspiracy.

Hopefully, this gets you through 24 hours FRiend. I’d like to take the weekend off.

I’ll get in trouble, but I’m still in favor of making it all legal and taking the money out of it. No controls at all. Let those who want to grow their own.

No, the Hon. AG Jeff Sessions is not aiming for President Trump.

I’ve called and followed the entire #RussiaCollusionHoax since late 2016 but all of the information is publicly available. At this point, the writing is on the wall and you can put the pieces together without much effort.

All you need to do is to track everything about John Huber, his public presentation by AG Sessions to the public and the related references to a grand jury.

You can look it up in five minutes. At this point, there’s no taking any credit for the obvious. It’s going to be one bang-up summer. After Labor Day, the party will be jumping with fun heading toward November.

Great time to be an American. Pray, ask for our Lord’s divine mercy and forgiveness, pull up a chair and enjoy the show. It’s going to be superb!

Shamnesty never made it through. You’re confusing fantasy with facts, again.

Which partly explains the DACA fiasco. If Shamnesty had passed, there would be no DACA issue whatsoever.

“Jeff Sessions pretends to play stupid.”

Just like Roberts & Gowdy & everybody else, Sessions has a little boy or little girl problem somewhere.

Adultery isn’t enough these days, it has to be MORE.

OR ...... it’s 4D chess!

I barely care one way or the other at this point, but what I do know is that on the list of things that I need the U.S. Attorney General to be concerning himself with, prosecuting marijuana offenses is somewhere around #4458.

Are you also going to tell us that Rosenstein is a good guy too?
Can you explain why the DOJ keeps stonewalling Congress?
