We need more self termination here. If you are having a bad day and all you can do is thinking about shooting your peers or making a couple bombs you now can Self Terminate and leave the rest of us alone.
This is not difficult to see.... and gun control is definitely not the answer. They are fools to think having guns is the problem.
I go back again... we had guns all around us. They were carried on a gun rack in the truck.. they were in the house ... people went hunting for squirrel, deer, or shooting varmits in the barn... kids used guns just like parents did.. and NO ONE was ever shot... NO ONE ever took one to school and shot up the place! It didn’t enter anyone’s mind to use that gun to shoot people.
What has changed?
1. Kids learned respect from home and school. It was mandatory and kids did as they were told.
2. Parents were strick and expected their kids to not cause trouble for others. If one was sent to the Principal at school, they got it when the got home. Parents didn’t go to school and say “my kid would not do that”.
3. Parents were parents... not buddies and pals to allow their kids to disobey rules.
4. Teachers were not strange.. most were fair.
5. There were rules to follow and we had to follow them.. no excuses. If there was a kid who liked to start trouble, he was taken care of and he changed or was kicked out of school.. and if he was out of school, his parents expected him to have a job.. no matter how menial... farm work, plow, pick up corn in the field... pick up rocks.. work at the local store... and most kids did not automatically have a car to drive of their own...
6,7,l8,9,10.. I narrow it down to RESPECT and enough church in everyone that they lived like everyone was family. We all walked to the church for Good Friday service... we said the pledge to the flag... we stood and placed our hands over our hearts...
And society.. the people... would not tolerate what is going on today... it starts when the child understands NO and it never ends...
I take care of my 6 yr old grandson several days a week since he was born. He is usually easy to get along with.. and minds well. Every now and then when I ask him to do something, he will answer NO. I tell him that is not the right word I want to hear. He can not want to do something, but answer it in a way that is not defying me. In the south they teach “yes maam and no maam”... I will accept that kind of no, but it depends on the request in the first place.
Your kids know you early on... they know what you will do and not do.. and they will work with what they have.
How hard is it for parents to teach their children to be respectful... don’t talk back... don’t get smart alec.... it is lacking in some of today’s youth... it goes a long way.
and this 17 yr old today... either is mentally confused or has not been taught the simple things in how to treat others.. plus hollywood and TV and internet.. should be charged... look at what they make for the kids to view and copy!
My rant for the subject.

One more thing... obama made it okay to be rude, condescending, lie, break all the rules.. he went to every shooting that involved blacks and what he said was to encourage riots and shooting.. he did not attend any where it was a white kid who was shot.
obama opened the door to do what we are seeing today.. civility is gone.. bullying and blaming everyone but one’s self is how to act.
It crept in... if you were watching, you could see it when they were given the privilege to live in our White House.

We have insane “gun-free” zones where it’s against the law for people to rightfully defend themselves.
Back when I was young, a "broken toy" like him would probably be found in his home hanging from a closet rack.
But nowadays with every child a precious and special'snowflake, it's society that's wrong and not our special "hero' who will set all things right because he was signaled all his life he can't be wrong.
Even with total banishment of all guns, he would have found a way to kill his "enemies' A can of gasoline would cause a lot of damage in the wrong hands.
But Diversity is our strength.
