Breaking on local television. Local packed restaurant with an active shooter. Someone began shooting people and scanner traffic says an armed patron returned fire. Shooter is dead and laying outside the building. Helicopter showing what they can. Injured have been transported to OU Medical. For you OKC people, this is at Louie's On The Lake.

The armed citizen shot the perp from outside, as perp was leaving. I hope he doesn’t get charged for shooting him while he was making a getaway. I’m not sure if that’s part of the right to shoot in defense of others law.
Yes... I agree. Police Captain just said the armed citizen did a good job and ended the threat. Said they were glad the shooter wasn’t still running around etc. But, you’re right. The guy is probably gonna need an attorney by time the shooter’s family goes to court.

I seriously doubt they will charge the armed patron. They are calling him a hero. Our governor is lousy. She is going out of office this November, thank goodness.
Hope the hero doesn’t get prosecuted for taking down a federal agent who was just doing his job of shooting innocent bystanders.
I think it is owned by the city??
