It's over. Hopefully the fallout won't hit Hawley.

I think Hawley has positioned himself well on this.

He has done a good job of distancing himself from the growing scandals.

You can bet that in the Senate race, Hawley will be sure to remind voters that Greitens was only a Republican for two years. The rest of his life, he has been a Democrat, and with any luck, they can have him back.

Sarah Steelman or Sam Graves should run for MO governor in 2020. Gov. Parson is too bland. I know MO. I have family in Missouri, one of best states in America.

Hawley came out against Greitens weeks ago. I thought it was pretty feckless of him, but the resignation solves the whole thing.

Never fails. I’m always correct on this.....

Republicans resign in disgrace when scandals catch up with them.

Democrats? The use them as resume enhancers. They are not deterred on little bit.

A Rhodes scholar and former Navy SEAL, Greitens was once considered one of the brightest stars ...

There's your problem !

You can tell from the other comments on this thread that the Todd Akins treatment is at work on Hawley. It doesn’t matter that the argument is all going in the opposite direction, the objective is to divide our side and get McCaskill reelected. She is an evil schemer and this will be a dirty fight. Gretens pulled the pin in the grenade released the spoon and threw the pin. SEALS aren’t supposed to do that.

How do these people think they can get away with their malfeasance?

Pelosi used the Mark Foley scandal to take over in 2006. Foley was tied to every Republican running. Look for the same play again.

Greitens should have never been nominated by MO Republicans in 2016. Catherine Hanaway or John Brunner would have been better.

I voted against Greitens in the primary since there were better conservatives running against him, but then I didn't vote for rino Blunt in the primary either.
Maybe this will clear the decks for the #1 goal, defeating McCaskill.

He was a Rat until 2015. Then he became an opportunist. Anyway, good riddance.

It would be nice if republicans could learn to ‘keep it in their pants’... at least if they are married and in / or running for, high office.

Interesting. Another questionable politician. We need better people. We are not promoting our best.

Vote for REPUBLICAN JUDGES, and I could care less about anything else regarding Republicans running for Senate.

It is THAT important. It shouldn’t have to be, but it is.
