I read the tweet, I don’t see where she called a black person an ape. And I’d be the last person to defend Roseanne Barr because I liked her. There won’t be equality until she can say what she said, the same as the left called President Bush “McChimpy Hitler” or some such, for more than eight years.

Those are the ones who have been brainwashed by both left and right into tying their own hands behind their backs. We hear about “civility” from the likes of Obama, “they bring a knife we bring a gun”, “conservatives” in public life rush to applaud him and hold his likes up as some exemplar-but it only works one way, and they just won’t see it.

Or they could keep the character. Just have her be played by a different person. That’s what happened to Darrin on the old ‘Bewitched’ show.

So who could the new Roseanne be? It would have to be someone uber-PC. Rosie O’donnell? Melissa McCarthy?

As an aside, it really wouldn’t matter to me. I didn’t like the old show, didn’t like the new show.

I’m not a Roseanne fan. Never liked that show. Never liked her comedy routines. I never understood the appeal of the show. But to each his or her own.
