Spygate: Majority Believe Feds Broke Law to Stop Trump from Winning Presidency
breitbart ^ | JOHN NOLTE

A majority of 51 percent of voters now believe “senior law enforcement officials are likely to have broken the law in an effort to prevent Trump from winning the presidency,” according to a poll from Rasmussen Reports. Only 42 percent of voters believe it is “unlikely that these officials illegally attempted to stop a Trump presidency.”

In other words, we now live in a country where only 42 percent of voters believe it is “unlikely” federal law enforcement officials tried to illegally meddle in a presidential election.

Only 26 percent believe it is “not at all likely.”

In this poll of 1,000 likely voters, which was taken just prior to the Memorial Day weekend, Rasmussen also found that public opinion — despite the establishment media’s dishonest efforts — is steadily moving against federal law enforcement since this poll was last taken in February.

A full 72 percent of Republican voters believe it is “likely” federal law enforcement broke the law in an effort to destroy Trump. This is up from 66 percent in February. A clear majority of 55 percent of Republicans believe it is “very likely,” an increase from 47 percent.

Even Democrats are becoming more convinced. Nearly a third of Democrats, 29 percent, “believe these officials are Very Likely to have broken the law.” That is up from 22 percent in February.

No not at all. Rasmussen is usually pretty good with their distribution numbers. Might be off by two or three

Fifty one is significant enough

How do the leaders break the law without having the R&F do so also?

Imagine what the numbers would be like if the media actually reported the news.

I want to see the survey

Would you like Trump's executive branch to have the powers in 2020 or 2024 that Obama's people used in 2016:
* FISA warrants with questionable supporting evidence
* Surveillance on the D candidate's associates
* Informants in the D campaign organization
* FBI/CIA/DNI/? working closely in the effort
* Trump political appointees unmasking at record rates
* Refusal to keep congress informed (as they are supposed to) or allow congressional oversight after the fact
* Failure to keep detailed documentation and records of conversations and decisions for future defense of their extraordinary efforts that they know may look extra-unconstitutional.
* ...

How many Ds or never-Trumpers would take Trump's word for it that all of these efforts are meant to thwart a foreign attack rather than a D candidate? And if you don't believe Trump would use these capabilities in good faith, you should be demanding they be shut down now and questioning whether they were used appropriately last time.

Trump is not going to fire Mueller. Mueller has become a gift. The longer he goes on the more ridiculous him and the Democrats look.

Wow.

What this shows is that the alternative, conservative media is getting the word out, in spite of the tremendous efforts by the Left-Dominant Media to block it, demean it, and explain away the obvious with bizarre narratives.

Narratives like: We didn’t do it, nobody saw us doing it, and even though we did it, we did it to protect Trump!

It is impressive that a majority of voters have gotten the message, in spite of the overwhelming dominance of the Left-Media.

This, along with the Trump Presidency, is proof the Mediacracy no long rules the United States.

Long live the Constitutional Republic, may it be fully restored!

You are correct in a sense - this should be about the law and upholding our laws.

However, it has become a non-stop spin cycle and peoples opinions on this fiasco are largely driven by their media sources. A person who watches most of the MSM is likely unaware of much of the damning information that is out there. The majority of the media spins everything against the President. A person who listens to Fox or conservative radio is ready to grab a torch and pitchfork in outrage. The majority of our fellow citizens probably have not followed all the hysteria that much.

The one interesting take-away from the polling is that the MSM has lost control of the narrative so in that sense the administration is winning. The public is becoming fatigued by the whole story because it is a constant drip into the news cycle and leads to another 24-48 hour spin cycle.

Trump has the power to release the key documents, but he has chosen not to do so for some reason. The reason he has not done so is the million dollar question. My takeaway is that there is something else going on here that is not being discussed in the news, but all I can do (like all of us) is speculate. Timing is everything in politics and with this President, so are his promises. He has kept them so far and lest we forget, one of his main promises was to fight the deep state.

That battle has been engaged and I think there will be some big surprises in the future that are much larger than the Special Counsel investigation that seems to dominate the news.

There are FEW FREEPERS who can grasp this concept. Mueller and his deep state co conspirators are a gift from heaven. As long as they stay in power, they keep digging the hole DEEPER!

The same with arrests. No arrests until only the deepest brain dead Demonrats are the only holdouts (You really can fool some of the people ALL of the time). It should be a big deal to arrest the leaders of an opposing political party and it is so far. But since they are all being marched single step toward the gallows, President Trump is NOT going to stop them.

It will be a while longer until the first arrests are made.

Of course they did.

And you won’t see Bloodhound Mueller even taking a peek at that.

Even that lunatic Louis Farrakhan pointed out a couple of weeks ago that President Trump has taken aim at organizations like the FBI and CIA that black Americans have considered enemies for decades.

A majority beleives that the DOJ and the FIB broke the law to tip the election to one party -— whose candidate was an obvious criminal! -— and yet nobody is marching on DC. {sigh}

I agree with you about the political response to the abuse of power by the Special Counsel Mueller. Folks are getting sick and tired of it, bored to death, and now see Donald Trump as a victim of discrimination.

The liberal/socialist news media is also looking foolish, dishonest and frankly, like spoiled brats.

Yup. He overreached too much. Hiring only partition democrats for the staff .. bad optics. Prosecuting a retired Admiral for a process crime that the FBI says didn't happen? Bad optics. Raids on Trump's privileged communications with his lawyer? Bad optics and scary. Systematically leaking those communicatiosn when they could only be leaked from your office? Worse optics.

Eventually people start saying "What is this, the KGB or something?" And twitter master Trump knows how to push them there.
