Eight months after his communist social media postings and conduct caused a conservative media firestorm, 2nd Lieutenant Spenser Rapone (better known as "the commie cadet") is reportedly being processed out of the Army with the most severe type of military administrative discharge -- an "other than honorable discharge."

Rapone, you may recall, is the avowed Marxist and Antifa supporter who posted pictures of himself on social media promoting pro-communist messages and expressing an intention to infiltrate the U.S. military.

He was attached to a Ranger battalion, I believe, and is not an actual graduate of Ranger school.

True but seeing how things are now I’d bet it’s General under honorable conditions. Otherwise the punk would probably have lawyers lining up.

“He was attached to a Ranger battalion, I believe, and is not an actual graduate of Ranger school.”

You are right. I see stuff that he passed RASP, was assigned with 1st Rangers for a while in Afghanistan (where he got a tan beret and the Unit combat patch), but he does not have a Ranger tab in photos.

He was Released For Standards (fired) from the Ranger Battalion he served with. That can happen to good folks who can’t keep up on the runs after an injury, but it can be for a bad attitude as well.

Now do the same with the Commandant and the rest of the rotten crew at West Point that nurtured and protected him for 4 years.

His muzzie West Point mentor was put on leave at least, hopefully airdropped into the 'Stan' in an unknown location.

That initial promotion for officers is unlike all others - it does not require board selection. It is automatic at around 18 months, unless a bar is actively put in place against that individual - which requires certain legal standards.

That must be an army thing.
