They will just cry again about the Russian 'boogie-men' hiding in the closet, under the beds and in the voting machines.

They seem to have in the recent Ontario election. At one point they put the socialist NDP in the lead with 47% of the vote. In a 3 way race that would have been a tidal wave for them. The more right wing Conservative party eventually won a majority with 40% and the NDP came in with 33%. They seem to lie with ease these days.
