Alec Baldwin may not be satisfied merely playing the President of the United States on Saturday Night Live; instead, he may actually want the real job for himself.
On Monday, Baldwin—who won an Emmy last year for his portrayal of Donald Trump on SNL—told Howard Stern that he could beat the current Commander in Chief if he decided to run for the top office in 2020.
Should we add Baldwin’s name to the growing list of celebrities tied to the White House? Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Oprah Winfrey could use some company.
While discussing the 2020 election, Baldwin said he “can only think of a couple people who I think could beat Trump.”
Stern replied, “I’ve got a name for you: Alec Baldwin.”
Here is the thing: Leftists look at Trump and exclaim “See! See! He is just a celebrity and he won! We have more famous and better celebrities than Trump, we would win easily if we run Oprah or Baldwin!”
They simply refuse to see that Trump is a billionaire, and he got it not from reading a script, but from wading knee deep into real estate in viper pits like New York City, negotiating hard deals, and managing complex issues, doing it all and developing a well-deserved reputation for grindingly long hours, hard work, and nastily tenacious negotiations.
I find it humorous. Trump didn’t want to do debate prep during the campaign and said “I don’t need it. I know it already.” So he did less than people think. Can you see dimwits like Baldwin or Oprah going into a debate even with extensive prep?
It is laughable. Run, Arreck, Run!
I guarantee the skeletons in Baldwin’s closet.
There’s not a closet big enough to hold all of his skeletons.

What they need to do is a remake with Trump leading Team America, and Kim Jong Un allied with him against the Euroweenies!

I wonder if Trump can beat Reagan with all 50 states. He won’t be as kind to his opponent as Reagan was to Mondale.

He should line up the donors, get support from the Democrat Party Elite, build his organization, hammer out a platform, and go.

He could very well be right about his daughter. His problem is it got recorded and the prior context of what led into that phone call isn’t recorded.
